26.2 miles.
The hardest thing I’ve ever done.

Last June I could barely run a 5K. Today… I’m a marathoner.

There were moments on that back half where I didn’t know if I had it in me. Crossed that finish line with tears in my eyes because God carried me through every mile — especially the ones that hurt the most. The training. The early mornings. The doubt. The discipline. All of it.

Hebrews 12:11 — “No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.”

Now I get why people would say “#Publix is your first marathon?!” The hills are unforgiving AND it was hot when most of our training was in cold weather!

This race showed me how resilient I am. How much trust I can have in myself. How capable I am when I decide to work for something — no matter how crazy it sounds.

And I did NOT do this alone. The love, prayers, texts, signs, hugs at the fence, training with my @correatlanta fam… everything.

Grateful. Blessed. Most of all… Built different.

This year was both the best and not the best. I showed up for my health, found running, and met people who became friends. Grateful for the growth, the miles, and the lessons I’ve learned. Here’s to new memories and more accomplishments in 2026. Proud of how far I’ve come 🤧😭
