Last year, standing in Nallur on September 26th 2025 to pay our respect to Thileepan Anna was a deeply grounding experience 🙏🏾 May the light within you continue to guide us and the upcoming generations. தமிழரின் தாகம் தமிழீழத் தாயகம்.

Enjoyed teaching and dancing with our lovely dancers at our Workshop 20.08! 💃🏾✨

We focused on understanding techniques to adding elegance to steps and understanding the song and context to express the emotion of the song.

The lovely girls took the pointers well and worked on expressions together, creating a safe space to explore and experiment ✨

P R O J E C T T H Ā R Ā T H I 💫

From starting off with a raasi drawing series three years ago to finally having the confidence to turn this concept into a dance project, I never expected Project Thārāthi to reach this scale 🥹💫

A huge thank you to my beautiful Thārāthi girls for blindly trusting my chaotic vision, you guys absolutely made the project your own and embodied your roles with so much grace! I’m eternally grateful that I was able to share my passion for storytelling with you ❤️

A massive thank you to my fave victim @vera.level.productions for once again taking on the mammoth task of filming and editing a shail.art project 🫣 the way you stay true to your name and level up every time with your execution is truly inspiring 🙌🏽❤️ and another huge thank you to @vidu_14_ @kanavucinematics for photography and BTS on the day, your enthusiasm for my projects is always so special to me, and I’m so grateful for every opportunity we have to work together 🤝❤️

This project has been about passion from the beginning. From spray painting flowers, to deafening @kishnavi_ with violins, to the miraculous 12 hour single day shoot clutch, I could’ve have done this project without this amazing team and everyone who supported us behind the scenes 🫶🏽

Now, onto the next…
