Ramadan Mubarak 🌙✨

This month, we turn to the newly opened Red Sea Museum in Jeddah - a cultural institution dedicated to documenting the region’s maritime history, pilgrimage routes, and trade networks.

Set within the restored Bab Al-Bunt gateway, the museum traces centuries of passage across the Red Sea - where pilgrims, merchants, and ideas converged - almost 1,000 artefacts are shown alongside works by artists such as Manal AlDowayan, Moath Alofi, Abdulhalim Radwi, and Anish Kapoor, connecting maritime history with contemporary artistic voices.

20 years ago, on the 24th of march 2005, was the launching of the collective magazine “Pa-tome00” at @librairiegalerieartazart.
during 4 years, we published 6 issues and set up many exhibitions in paris, london or roma. the collective “Pa-“ was a free space for artists, illustrators, graphic designers or photographers to express themselves in a time social media didn’t exist yet.
each magazine featured 20 to 30 authors and for many of them, it was their first published artwork.
niko and me were the founders, our general quarter was the cyrano café or le chandra place de clichy (paris XVII) and I treasure many friendships from this adventure.
it was the first time I published extract of my sketchbooks and thanks to Pa- I get contacted by my first agent and received my first illustration commissions.
Pa- was the first step to the long path that I recovered over the years, I had a dream in 2005 and my actual life looks like this dream: living from my illustrations.
