POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

I've learned my lesson from past festivals that you simply must not ignore the shorts. That's where the real gems can be found and where you can maximize your pass to see the more interesting/experimental projects that have been brought to audiences. They may not all work (or make sense), but there's an artistic electricity that keeps these tiny marvels a joy to devour. #SXSW2023 had a diverse selection for the virtual viewer, something I was incredibly grateful for. Here's a swift journey through what I was able to see.

Pay special attention to Eyestring (bravo, @javidevitt!), The Breakthrough, Pennies from Heaven (keep an eye out for director @sandyhonig), Endless Sea, and We Forgot About the Zombies (@dr_chrisenstein’s wicked funny treat!)

Also…Annabel Meschke (@armsandlegs) & Sabina Meschke (@sabinalily) are g-d stars - I can’t wait to see what’s next!

This rag-tag team of ruff and tumble cuties had what can only be described as a “blast” at SXSW this year. After a couple weeks of hibernation we are over here reflecting on the good times, thoughtfully informative panels, and the incredible access to free booze. We made new friends, hugged old ones, and watched a whole lot of incredible films. After approximately 2932948504568659568 happy hours and 3834854 laughs - we are all taking a much needed nap. Thanks for the good times, pals. And, as always, SXSW you are one spicy pepper🌶️. We loved eating you up.

Self-praise Alert! Some pics from this past October, when 'Eyestring' played at four film festivals in three continents in just 20 days. Along the way, I met some incredibly talented new friends. Forever grateful to @sitgesfestival , @beyondfest , @telluridehorrorshow , and @sxswsydney for an unforgettable experience.
