Last night, our Von stepped off the football field for the very last time not knowing the amount of emotions that would follow. Javon has mainly stuck to baseball his entire life so watching him step outside of his comfort zone was the most beautiful and emotional thing for his dad and I. He’s grown so much as an athlete and young adult. Despite not starting because he never played before and not playing every game, all the injuries and long days, he showed up every single day with a positive attitude and became a part of that football family. Saying that we are proud of him is the biggest understatement. We got to watch our son be passionate about something other then baseball and we were not prepared for the emotional rollercoaster it would send us on. We love you, Von! Mom and dad are your BIGGEST fans! #11💚🔐
