Thank you, Tommie Give Day donors!

Because of your generosity, we were able to award scholarships to three of our outstanding majors, Jay Lohr, Moses Yazachew, and Isaiah Ybarra, who will be heading abroad to learn, grow, and represent University of St. Thomas on a global stage.

Jay hopes to explore environmental ethics in Costa Rica.
Moses will study in Shanghai with the CIEE’s China in a Global Context program.
Isaiah aims to dive into culture and academics in Spain.

Your support is opening doors and expanding horizons—thank you!

We are so proud to have so many of our econ students giving back to their community and holding leadership roles around campus. Some of the most giving are those who serve as Resident Advisors in our on-campus dorms. The University of St. Thomas faculty take care of our students in the classroom, but RAs take care of our students in the dorms and help to foster community and wellbeing on campus.

When asked about why RAs are so important, Aaron Macke, the Associate Dean of Students and Director of Residence Life had this to say:

"RAs play an essential role in creating a Culture of Encounter for each resident and building a community of belonging for all residents. It's also an excellent opportunity for them to develop the knowledge and skills that are transferrable to any profession - leadership, mentoring, team building, conflict resolution, mediation/facilitation, crisis response, critical thinking, and more."

Thank you for all you do!
