It’s hard to summarize all the feelings of this day. I think the best possible word that I could use to describe it is: gratitude. I feel so incredibly grateful to all the people who made this day happen: the stunning bride: @kyra.dayyy, Bart and Rachel (parents of the bride), all my family, my in-laws, and some very special friends that made such a big effort to be there, Daniel’s dear friends who came from far and wide - their care for him really touched my heart, Daniel’s siblings (including Hudson! 😊),Isaac’s girlfriend, Darian. Oh man, I could just go on and on about how much it meant to have so many people we loved around us. And, honestly, we know that it is no small feat for people to come all the way from Canada, buy a suit/ dress stay in a hotel, all the meals out and everything. We know it was a sacrifice, and the love in it just feels overwhelming. (In a good way 🥰). (Just missing @jgopie.__ who would’ve been a groomsman and is a part of our family. Love you, Joey)
It filled our hearts to see all of Daniel’s siblings stand up for D&K. (And, of course, our precious little Selah and her wonderful Dad, Hudson, as flower girl and ring barer)!
But of course, I am most grateful to God who brought Kyra into Daniel’s life. As a parent, you hope and pray all their lives that they choose a life partner that is right for them. Kyra is that partner for Daniel and we feel so blessed.
