Ain’t no love like Oklahoma 🏜️🧡

Squat:
-200kg/440.92lbs (ATPR)
Bench:
-115kg/253.53LBS (ATPR)
Deadlift:
-165kg/363.76lbs (ATPR)

For this meet I had 3 goals: total over 1000lbs, get over 500 dots, and become an All-American and OMG I achieved these goals 😆. I ended up with a 480kg/1058lbs total (about 100lbs added to my total from last Nats 👀), 511.11 dots, and placed 2nd🥈🥹 in the 65kg weight class. Going in I was panicking because I took almost a whole year off from equipment and getting back to it was painful, my squat and deadlift suit didn’t fit so I sized up a size, and I didn’t have a deadlift suit until 2 weeks before we left to OKC 😭. Overall, I had tons of fun at this meet, ended up talking to other amazing girlies on my platform 🫶🏼, and our equipped girlies team got 4th securing us a banner 🥹💖💖💖. A big thank you to @thefurstnole for handling me and the rest of the coaches for having my back in the warm up room 🥹❤️ and an even bigger thank you to @longhornpowerlifting I love this team and all the hype and cheer yall bring 🥹❤️. Welp now it’s time to work hard and improve everything so that I can go and leave everything on the platform next year in New Orleans🥹❤️

Someone say fo 4 fo🫣😝

Please enjoy this pic dump of as many of my favorite people I could fit in 20 slides while I contemplate giving yall a meet recap😭

And of course, I have to give my thanks because without my army of support, I wouldn’t be where I am now. Thank you to my family for being my very first believers when I first started lifting 8 years ago. Thank you to @coachtimanderson for the opportunity to lift with THE BEST TEAM EVER, and for putting up with me these past 4 years.
Thank you to bus, @kilo_monger @tomwoodward9687 for the coaching over the years, as well as @jenniferthompsonshusband for handling me this meet.
Thank you to my sisters and brother-in-law for always being in my corner since day 1, you guys gave me the drive to finish out all 4 years.

And last but not least, thank you to my teammates @midlanduniversitypowerlifting i was shaped and molded over the past 4 years because of my time spent with each and everyone of yall, from my freshman year all the way to the last. I would not be the lifter I am today without the girls who came before me that paved the way, or without the girls by my side now.

Thank you for the best 4 years

Earn your Legacy, To the last lift
