Thank you so much to our Commissioners and their staff for making time to recognize the community’s efforts to make Charles County an amazing place to live.

For the past three years Charles County Commissioners have recognized Southern Sprinters for the amazing work we put in on and off the track. This year was particularly special because we received special recognition for being 2025 AAU National Club of the Year!

Big extension of gratitude to our coaches who support our athletes, our parents who go above and beyond, and our athletes for always rising to the occasion.

Swipe to see 2024 and 2025 athletes!

Ngl… after this rep I had to end practice💣🔥 And here’s why: HE’S 9 YEARs OLD jumping like this!! Nah forget that …. Do y’all see his pull through though? Stop playing with my lil man!! 👏🏽👏🏽

✅Patient at take off (pushes completely through the toe)
✅Good Knee Drive off the board
✅Shoots his hips forward as he rises
✅Knees meet underneath him
✅Patient with his hang
✅Great Job with the pull through (hence my)
