I did another double feature! 😩 Why? Because I'm crazy, but I love @ciara's "Body Party" and @beyonce's "Haunted!" I guess the double feature will be called "Haunted Party," just in time for Halloween! 👻 @petrie629 and I were troopers! ❤️

Tonight, I learned to take things slowly. It's been a long time coming. For me, I naturally tend to dance better to more mid-tempo, especially uptempo, music. As someone with inattentive ADHD, my brain just works and processes things more quickly, and I tend to move faster. Think "Happy Feet!" 🐧

I explained to one of the instructors tonight how I try to memorize dance moves first and then I try to FEEL and OWN the music by moving more organically with my own style or flare. I still don't know how to do the whole "8-count" thing. I mostly dance to the beats and the lyrics sometimes. It really helps if I love a song so much and have heard it countless times because then I'll know when to move, hit certain marks, and whatnot.

I like to show my slip-ups or mistakes in my clips because I am human. Dance and art helped me manage my perfectionistic tendencies (even in life) by incorporating the "yes, and" mantra.

If I slip up or mess up, I just keep going. I don't stop. I learned to smile or laugh things off. I learned to take things in life both in serious and unserious ways. You can hear Cindy in the background, telling me that it was okay when I caught myself dancing at a quicker pace near the end of "Body Party." I just kept going, not letting my tiny mistake ruin the whole choreography. It is still crazy how I managed to do that spin at the end, not gonna lie, especially since that was the first take! 😂

I tried to redeem myself by taking it slowly for the second class, which was progress! It's fitting how the choreography started with Beyoncé saying, "Perfection is so... mmm..."

As always, thank you, Cindy and Jayda for a fun night! 🫶🏻

Some BTS from @bulls.entertainment media day. I had a great time shadowing @joepinchin and @mhirschuber. I appreciate them taking the time to talk me through the setup and processes.

I’m looking forward to bringing what I learned to media day shoots to other teams!

Come with me as I get @jayda_kopp of the Chicago Bulls @chicagoluvabulls camera-ready for Media Day. ❤️🏀

For this look, the goal was polished, soft and full of movement—something that would look beautiful on camera but still feel natural.

It’s all in the details: creating the right shape, making sure everything blends seamlessly, and finishing the hair so it holds through a full day of photos and filming.

And here’s the final look… Media Day ready! ✨
