And just like that it’s all over. I remember going to volleyball camp in 6th grade and sucking so bad. I thought I was never gonna be good at this sport. Now here I am at senior night playing my last volleyball game. Volleyball was my life for years and it’s hard to let go of something that just became apart of you. It was my outlet. I could go to practice and forget about all my worries and problems and just play volleyball. The seniors that I’ve played with these past 6 years have become family to me. I will never forget all the sweet 16s, suicides, two a days, and everything in between. Each and everyone one of us pushed each other every single day and we never gave up. It’s crazy how big of an impact a coach can have on a players life. Coach Farias taught me so many things that I will forever be grateful for. She taught me how to be a great volleyball player and work hard for what you want. I’ve picked up many sarcastic lines from her that I will carry on with me through my life lol. She taught me how to be a good person and I think that’s the greatest of them all. It’s gonna be really hard to close this chapter in my life. But these girls and my coach sure made it worthwhile. I love you all. #13 signing out...
