I wrapped up my 4th Summer of coaching high school AAU basketball a few weeks ago. The time has blown by. I wouldn’t trade coaching any of these young men for anything. Each one has been special in his own way. It’s great to see all these guys growing up and going on to be successful in all different ways. I’m proud of each one of these guys and I’ve been blessed beyond measure to coach them.

Each team was unique. Every year presented new challenges. It wasn’t about the wins or losses for me. I got to be apart of the lives and help each player on his journey to be successful on and most importantly off the court. I hope each one of my players has felt valued over the years. Each piece of the team was always integral to the success of the team.

To my fellow coaches @conner.johnson2, @rcgpart3, @cooper.peterson, and @hashtagwhatelse. Thank you. Thank you for making me a better coach. We didn’t always see eye to eye on everything, but we wanted what was best for our guys. Thank you for helping me and these guys be the best we could.

To all my players. Thank you. Thank you for listening to me when I was right and even when I was wrong. I tried to coach each one of you hard and push you to be the best you could be. Just like I always tried to say, hit me if you ever need anything. My line is always open. And that means forever.

To @okswarmhs. Thank you for trusting me to lead your 17u program for the last two years. The Swarm has been a family to me and I am forever grateful for the opportunity I had to coach.

To my Oklahoma Eagles guys. Thank you for giving a young college player an opportunity to coach. Thank you @blaine.mckinsey for giving me my start my guy. I can’t thank you and the Eagles guys enough.

Love you all my guys! Hit me if you need anything! 🙏💙🦅🐝💛
