POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

Looking at these pictures is making me emotional, because I feel so lucky to have people in my life that love me and support me the way they do.

Winning my competition was surreal, and I couldn’t be more happy with the turnout. But, nothing compares to the way I felt when I walked out of the auditorium and had all the people I love cheering for me, pride beaming on all of their faces.

Even though this was the hardest thing I have ever done, the support from the people in these pictures is what kept me going. Their patience, encouragement, reassurance, and belief in me is something that drove me to show up for myself even more.

One of the hardest things about prep in my opinion is the isolation. I spent so many hours by myself over the past 5 months between cardio, lifting, meal prepping, and eating. Sometimes the days would blend together, and it felt like I didn’t have time to do much else. It made me appreciate the quality time with my loved ones even more.

To my coaches—thank you for believing in me from the start. For holding me accountable, and for pushing me to achieve this goal. The countless hours you invested in me never went unnoticed or unappreciated. I’ll forever be grateful for this experience and wouldn’t change a thing.

To all of my friends at the gym—thank you for always checking in on me, and for genuinely caring how I’ve been doing throughout this. There’s so much comfort in being around people that know what the experience of prep is like. It was pretty rare if I had a day at the gym where someone didn’t ask how I was doing. Not to mention, all the confidence each person consistently spoke into me.

Oh, and to all the people I forgot to text back in the past 5 months, sorry about that. Love you. I hope you understand
