Finished off my last 3 shows of the year with Ruel and Jacob Collier in Australia. No idea how many shows I did this year, but I went around the world 4 times. Wowee. That’s a personal record. ✌🏻 See you next year.

THE DJESSE WORLD TOUR IS A WRAP!!!!! ❤️‍🔥

8 years. 345 shows. 43 countries. 3 times around the world. Half a million audience choir members. The explosion of joy that you are!!!

I am writing this on the plane home to London, reflecting on the magic and insanity of it all. I’m thinking back to the 200-cap rock clubs and jazz clubs where we began with the one-man show, a decade ago. The journey from there to here has been nothing short of unbelievable. Some of you here have seen me through all of it! It feels so much bigger than me now…the farthest from a one-man show imaginable. Something for all of us, made by all of us.

I want to say to the greatest bandmates on Earth @mullarkeybass @christianeuman @parijitab @erinbentlage @benjonesmusik - thank you from the bottom of my heart. You’ve changed my life for the better in so many ways. Seeing the world through your eyes has opened my own immeasurably, and growing alongside you each night on stage has been the thrill of a lifetime.

To my world-class crew of legends - thank you all for so tirelessly grafting, creating and evolving this portable universe across all corners of the world, with such vigour, passion and skill. You’ve made the impossible possible, time and time again. Jose, Tess, Joseph, Kyle, Ryan, Francesca, Art, Toby, Jay, Lou, Wob, Amanda, Andre – I love you all to the moon. An everlasting salute to @gomyben , my co-architect for a decade of live-show creations, whose instincts, vision, multimodal musicality and friendship mean the world to me.

To all of you who came, sang, danced, listened with your beautiful open ears… this tour belongs to you. It’s been the honour of my life so far to pour my heart, soul and energy into these shows, for and with you all. You’ve given me parts of myself I didn’t know existed, and I cannot thank you enough for that. I’m gonna miss you all a ton, and cannot wait for the next time we get to be together again.

What’s next??? I don’t know yet. But I can’t wait to find out, and for you to be a part of it.

Deep gratitude, with a full heart, from 30,000ft

Jacob 💚

If I could bottle up the energy of this summer tour in a single video, I’d take THIS moment - the end of Box Of Stars at Wolf Trap on Tuesday. This moment held that sort of euphoria that ignites every cell of my body. What a way to close out the past seven weeks under the sun, travelling the world with this incredible bunch.

THANK YOU to my unbelievable band, @parijitab @erinbentlage @benjonesmusik @mullarkeybass @christianeuman , ye legends all, for inspiring me each & every moment of the way - and to my incomparable crew (including @bedrockbam the videographer and secretly ex-champion breakdancer) for lighting up the path and bringing my imaginary world to life with such skill and care. So many vivid and powerful memories to treasure with you all.

To all of YOU lovely friends and audience members who came along to sing, dance, listen, or simply to feel, you have made all the sweaty relentless travel days and mental and physical exertion beyond worthwhile. I’d do it again in a heartbeat, and I will never forget this summer that we shared.

South America, India, Australia - we’re bringing the last of the Djesse Band World Tour to you over the next few months. We cannot wait to close out this unbelievable chapter in style.

Big, huge, immense love and gratitude to you all. In a time where we’ve never needed joy more, thank you for all of that which you’ve brought me ❤️
