7.17 通電TungDin + JHQ Present: 點Sub w/ Sumgii & Patrice 🔊 For our next heavyweight session, 通電TungDin links up with Macau’s JHQ crew to serve a sonic feast that bridges two worlds at Stereo52. Introducing “點Sub” (Dim Sub): A collision of the 020 and the 0207. We’re taking that “夠薑” (Gau Geung/Bold) energy from the Guangzhou streets and mixing it with proper heavyweight London sound system culture. We’re serving up steamer baskets full of sub-low frequencies and raw UK dubplates, all delivered through a crisp Funktion One sound system. From the London ends to the heart of the Cantonese underground, this is a celebration of heritage, grit, and pure low-end pressure. THE HEADLINERS:
🇬🇧 SUMGII (@sumgii)
A true heavyweight of the UK underground and a label head whose influence stretches across the globe. Known for his genre-defying fusion of experimental hip-hop, forward-thinking bass, and jungle, Sumgii has produced for legends like Skepta, Chase & Status, and Killa P. With releases on Swamp 81, Slimzos, and 2020 LDN, expect a set that pushes the boundaries of the sound system. 🇬🇧 PATRICE (@patrice_lndn)
An East London specialist and long-standing Rinse FM resident. Patrice has spent over 14 years mastering the weight and energy of classic UK rave culture. As the former A&R and Label Manager for the iconic Swamp 81, he worked side-by-side with pioneer Loefah to shape the sound of modern dubstep and grime. Expect deep, dark, and eclectic bass-heavy club music. ⛓️ SUPPORT ⛓️ 🇨🇳 🇬🇧 OurKid (通電TungDin, GZ)
