CONTR4ST takes over Wibar on Friday the 13th November, with Jay Jackson (fka.m4a) behind the decks all night himself.

CONTR4ST exists to shine a light on the brighter side of dance music, a space of pure euphoria, nostalgia and joy. At their nights the focus is on making people smile and making them want to hug their friends. Think prog house, house and HI-NRG with a touch of trance and Italo, warm, soulful and made for the dancefloor.

London born, Berlin based, and after years as fka.m4a now stepping forward under his real name. Jay runs CONTR4ST himself, and this is the first time he brings it to our warehouse. One long night with the lights on the bright side. Bring the friends you love, you’ll want to hug them. See you there.

New roster announcement! @jayjackson_music

Jay Jackson is a London born and Berlin based DJ and producer stepping forward under his real name
after years of performing as fka.m4a. Rooted in the Black and queer foundations of house music, his
sound brings together soulful vocals, warmth and euphoric club energy with an ambition to connect
far beyond the underground.

An early mentee and supporter of Peggy Gou, Jay has since played Tomorrowland, Sonar, Time
Warp, DGTL, Mighty Hoopla, Lost Village, WHOLE Festival and Panorama Bar alongside extensive
international touring. His production career is accelerating too with “Feelin (So High)” passing
900,000 streams and recent appearances across BBC Radio 1, Resident Advisor, NTS and SECTION
HQ.

Jay also runs CONTR4ST, his label and event platform championing emerging talent in the house and
progressive house world. Following releases from artists including Jeno, Wempe, NewTone, Boudi
and Bo Bensdorp, CONTR4ST is now growing its live presence with Jay headlining label nights across
Berlin and Amsterdam.

Thank you Auris Presents. I am so grateful for the amazing people I met along the way.

Forever indebted to @megbabeey . Thank you @philkrueger @megannlux @cecilycarolina_ @avolynforever @hayleylstanley @sam_merritt13 @barragoonofficial @steen_uhh @carls_marie_tee and all the incredible video, lighting, visual, and production crew I had the pleasure of working along side at Concord, Radius, Smoke & Mirrors, Outset, & PRYSM. Your beautiful faces made those long nights worth it and modeled what creative professionals should be. If you worked for Auris - you are on a different plane. It was a pleasure and it’s a chapter closed. What a run!
