“EnjoyMint” - Directed by Jay Kasai
Made with Gravity Productions

I was the Lead Editor for this production, with direct collaboration with Nabeyin (music composer), and Jayme Hewit (Post Production Supervisor)!

This was my first production working directly with multiple other people in the post production process, so I’m glad to have had the experience and knowledge.

It was a great pleasure to work with them, and look forward on watching the final product on the big screen!

My 4 year anniversary of moving to California is on the 18th, so here’s a #TBT post reflecting on the last few months I had on the East Coast before moving to California.

I left no stone unturned in the East Coast. From 2015-2022, I balanced a health career with a media career.

The epidemiology team I was on was acknowledged by the White House in a virtual town hall in 2021.

Around that time, I lectured for Virginia Union University virtually. At that point, I lectured for every 4 year university in my hometown.

Then I visited California for a month to grow this long distance relationship I had at the time and friendships I made on the West Coast.

I also virtually lectured for California Baptist Riverside discussing research methods in different job sectors.

Once I got laid off from my dream health job, I still freelanced for a creative agency and started to intern for a Tri-State based PR agency. To show my dedication, I made drives up to NY/NJ to get experience in order to get ready for the full pivot into media out West. Now I’m their West Coast guy.

I was unsure how things would go in Cali, and 4 years later, I still have that dawg in me.

I’ve done so much here, but I still feel like I haven’t got exactly to where I want to be.

It has been a frustrating, yet very rewarding experience. It has tested my patience, but I know with faith and work, I’ll get exactly where I want to be.

I did EVERYTHING I wanted to professionally and personally on the East Coast. I’m bound to accomplish everything I ever wanted to again out west.

Last month we turned @ghostspacestudio into a Holy Place — a space for community, expression, and showing your first fruits.

We’re running it back for part two.

If you see yourself, tag it. If you felt the vibe, pass it on. Let’s build it bigger this time.

My 2025 wrap up.

• Became a member of @grammyu and spoke with a Congress representative team about music laws.
• Spoke at @mayorhelentran office
• Worked the red carpet for the BET Awards and the @onlyempirenow awards
• Was a part of @scummysunny rollout for his “Rent Was Due” album as a drug lord named Chico in the album’s video series with Red Bull Records
• Caught up with hella friends
• Got invited to a Hennessy event. As someone who’s famous for his Henny Honey BBQ Wings, the Red Cup Tour was a great experience.
• Performed poetry on the main stage of the largest fair in the US, the LA County Fair, thanks to @lionlikemimdstate
• Saw Clipse LIVE. As a VIRGINIA native, never thought I was gonna see that.
• Also participated in some Sirius events and had a client speak on a panel.

Honestly: It was such an up and down year. Had several injuries, personal issues, and several friends pass away. I almost called this year a let down year because I didn’t achieve my two main goals; there’s still time for one of them to happen though, Lord Willin like the Clipse album.

But as I went through my photos, I was BUGGIN to think this was a let down year. 2026 will be an even better year because #TheMissionIsTooGreat #TMITG

The Mission also turns 10 next year. Wow.
