The faith I’m carrying into the new year might make some people think I’m crazy but I’m at peace. I’ve stopped worrying about things that are out of my control. After taking time to reflect on everything I went through in 2025, I realised… why do we worry? God already has a plan. And if it’s not in His plan, then it was never meant for me.

God allows us to go through seasons, challenges, waiting, even heartbreak not to break us, but to rebuild our character. Everything He does has purpose. When we struggle financially, it may be so we don’t idolise material things. When we face debt, it can be to teach us obedience and discipline. Every lesson prepares us for the next season and shapes us into who we’re meant to become.

If you didn’t get the job this year, trust that God has something greater lined up for you when the time is right. He always shows up, and He will never give us more than we can handle. Anyone who truly knows me knows I used to be chaotic, disorganised, always rushing, always last minute. But in 2026, I’m choosing one thing and one thing only: staying focused and consistent in my faith.
