Today one of my children in mid-sentence of describing her day asked me, “Mom, how are you doing?”

I was at a loss for words…. Speechless🤷🏽‍♀️

What’s interesting is I ask my family & others that question almost every day, but seldom am I asked this question. Usually, I just say fine….but not today … I was speechless 🤷🏽‍♀️

When I finally did answer, 20 minutes later, my answer surprised even me:

“I feel free. Through the Grace of God, I feel so blessed & grateful - but in one word - just free”.

She said “Mom you never complain to us”

I answered, “because God has blessed us so much… We may not have everything we want, we may have disappointments, but we have each other, and we’re all alive and healthy. All of us are alive, living with roof over our head, food to eat, physically & mentally healthy, love to the fullness and most importantly we all know Jesus✝️”

Sometimes true freedom is simply recognizing how much you’ve already been given. There’s something powerful about finally realizing you’re in a season of freedom.
Freedom doesn’t mean perfection, it’s not linked to material things. Freedom is peace✝️ It comes from more gratitude and faith and less worry and stress ✝️
Freedom is when you know Goodness & Mercy is following you…. Forever 🔥🔥🔥

This convo hit different today 👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽

Sometimes God uses the people closest to us to remind us that we, too, need grace, care, and moments of honest reflection.

Even Jesus asked His disciples to watch and pray with Him. None of us were meant to carry life’s burdens alone. “Carry each other’s burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.” Galatians 6:2

I woke up late this AM and accidentally knocked a full cup of water off my nightstand after I saw what time it was😳.
It was a cup from a very significant restaurant to me, I had not used before… I usually drink water out of a glass…

As it fell to the floor, I felt a slight splash in my face, expecting my carpet to be soaked!! But when I looked down, the cup was standing perfectly upright with the water still inside🤔

Some call it physics? How, it was full?
But I knew it was a reminder from God, that He got me and my family!!! It was a moment of confirmation that meant so much to me✝️

It made me think: sometimes we expect a mess, a setback, or a disaster, and God allows things to land better than we ever imagined...supernaturally, everything always works out!!

I tell my kids this all the time, “It is going to work out, you know why? Because it always does✝️”

Today I’m grateful for the small reminders that God and His angels are still watching over every little detail of our lives and He got us!!!

No weapon formed against us shall ever prosper👋🏽👋🏽👋🏽Jordan Harold Jaz Kelley Jayla Kelley
