XCLUSIVE - COMPLEX 2026 🖤

What an experience. We walked away placing 4th, but more than anything, we walked away SO proud of this team and everything we put on that stage.

This set was truly a team effort. So many of our dancers weren’t just a part of the piece — they helped build it. From contributing ideas, adding their own flavor, and bringing their individual styles into the choreography, everyone had a hand in making this set feel like us. Watching it all come together on stage was something special.

A huge thank you to our choreographers @jazzy._.p @taylorpincombe @jaylenforreal @aidanlegarda for pouring so much creativity, time, and energy into this piece and making it possible. And to our director @lpincomb, thank you for constantly pushing us beyond what we think we’re capable of and challenging us to reach a new level!

We’re leaving Complex hungry, inspired, and ready to work even harder. This is only the beginning. We can’t wait to come back stronger, sharper, and better than ever!!

And a huge congratulations to all of the winners! You all absolutely deserved it and were incredible to watch. So much talent shared that stage, and we’re grateful we got to be a part of it.

First competition of the season in the books - 4th place. A whole lot learned. And nowhere to go but UP! Until next time!! 💪🏼🔥

Dear Beyoncé,

From the beginning your music has always been the soundtrack to my life. Your work ethic & drive you have, has always given me a push to want to go harder every time. You being your authentic self has also given us so many iconic moments. You have inspired so many of us over the years with not only your talent but with your grace, beauty, sass & being a Boss in this industry. In the words of the late, great Maya Angelou, You are truly a “Phenomenal Woman”.

“Black is King” was such a monumental piece & has Captured Kings, Queens & letting “Brown Skin Girls” & Boys know they are “the Key to the Kingdom” in Such a beautiful way. I knew I had to do something to pay tribute to the film & you after the first watch. You have always had an incredible team of people to back you up & with this tribute I couldn’t have done it without mine. I hope you enjoy this 🤎👑🙏🏽

That’s a wrap for our Y2K Showcase 💙💿

Thank you to everyone who attended, supported, and helped make our annual showcase a huge success! To our incredible director, co-director, videographers, photographers, dancers, and especially choreographers—this show would not have been possible without your hard work, creativity, and passion. You truly brought the 2000s to life on stage!

Thank you to everyone who guest performed at our show as well! We love having local teams on stage with us!

This was our set and WOD!
Esc8pe @worldofdance @wodsummit ‘24. From 2011 to 2024. I’m still with the same squad. @kastacademy To see the evolution over the years has been such a journey. The highs. The lows. Allllll so worth it. I love yall so much! Thank you for helping me get here, my life is and will always be special.. struggles make moments like these THAT much better. I watch this and I’m reminded of that kid who was taking a 2 hour bus ride each way to get one hour of training a week for two years while I was saving for a car. I see that kid who def couldn’t dance, but worked his ass off to get where he is! I’m so thankful.. it’s def not about the destination, it’s about the journey. Don’t forget to stop and give yourself a congrats every once in a while.
