On Sunday, November 20th, the Stanford Men's Basketball team joined our LEMO community to host a day of hoops like no other! The entire Stanford Men’s team headlined a basketball skill clinic which included a variety of different drills, competition, game play and more! Once the clinic concluded, the Stanford team sat down with the entire group and had an immersive Q&A session. Our young athletes were able to ask questions about the Stanford players work ethic, chemistry, and what it takes to compete at the highest level at one of the top educational/athletic institutions in the country!

After the basketball clinic portion of the afternoon concluded, a group of student athletes were able to participate in a “pre-game meal” cookoff, where Stanford players discussed the components of a “good” pregame meal based on Stanford nutritionist recommendations. The groups were judged on three components: taste, presentation, and a meal that included all pre game necessities. Each group absolutely killed it in all of the categories!

The LEMO Family wants to extend a HUGE thank you to Neal Begovich, Spencer Jones and the entire Stanford Men’s Basketball team. There is no doubt that the impact you all made will transcend far beyond the court. Thank you for taking the time to craft such a special day for our local student athletes! You all are the epitome of our #1 philosophy “don’t expect to accomplish your dreams if you’re not willing to help others accomplish theirs.” Until next time…. GO STANFORD! 🌲🔴🏀

A big shoutout to the entire @stanfordmbb team for spending their off day with @urbanstudentathlete. Key pieces of advice included: choose friends that want to see you succeed, and it’s never too early to practice time management & organizational skills. Best of luck to Stanford this season!

#ThatFamily. My guy/brother@morerepskp I can never tell you much I love you for being you and just solid as they come. You push me in ways that you don’t even know. Your energy to give these players every ounce of you is what makes our brotherhood thrive. We want the same thing:. The players to win at LIFE!! Your passion for the game and what you bring to the table as a person combined is appreciated my brother. My Arsenal coaches know it’s all love. We look out for each other on and off the court. 🙏🏾🙏🏾💪🏾😤
