I can’t believe these four years have already come to an end. I’ve spent most of my life playing softball with these girls, and it’s hard to put into words what this team and this journey have meant to me.

Looking back, it was never just about the wins and losses. It was about the friendships we built, the memories we made, the lessons we learned, and the people we became along the way.

Over the last four years, we accomplished things that once felt like dreams, including two district championships. But more than anything, we proved to ourselves and everyone around us what we were capable of when we believed in each other.

To my coaches, thank you for never giving up on me, for pushing me to be better, and for believing in me even when I didn’t believe in myself.

To my teammates, thank you for the laughs, the tears, the memories, and the friendships that will last long after we hang up our Bolivar jerseys.

To my family, thank you for the countless hours, sacrifices, and endless support. I wouldn’t be where I am today without you.

I’ll forever be grateful that I got to wear Bolivar across my chest and represent this program alongside some of my best friends.

Once a Lady Liberator, always a Lady Liberator.

Forever grateful for these four years. 💙💛

After 8 years of playing the game I’ve loved for so long, I’m officially hanging up my cleats. If you would’ve asked me a few years ago, I would’ve told you I’d play softball after high school. But as much as I love this game, I’ve decided it’s time to close this chapter and pursue my dream of nursing. Softball has given me so much more than a sport. It gave me a second family, lifelong friendships, and memories I’ll cherish forever. From the long travel ball weekends and school ball seasons to the bus rides, early mornings, late nights, wins, losses, laughs, and tears, I truly couldn’t have asked for anything better. To my coaches, thank you for believing in me, pushing me, and helping shape me into the person I am today. To my teammates, thank you for the friendships and memories that I’ll carry with me long after this game. And to my parents, thank you for every sacrifice, every mile driven, every early morning, and for always being my biggest supporters. I wouldn’t be who I am today without you. Over these 8 years, I’ve been blessed with amazing coaches, incredible teammates, a Nationals championship, and two district titles. I’ve learned that softball is about so much more than winning or losing. It’s about the people, the lessons, the memories, and the relationships that last long after the final out. Even though my last game didn’t end the way I hoped, I couldn’t be more grateful for the season and the career I’ve had. There were wins, losses, and moments I’ll never forget, and I wouldn’t change a single thing. It’s bittersweet saying goodbye to something I once pictured being part of my future, but I’m excited for what’s ahead. Thank you, softball, for 8 unforgettable years and for giving me people who will always feel like family. I may be done playing, but the impact this game has had on my life will never go away.
