Lastly, happy to introduce our lovely 2021-2022 President, Jaylin! ❤️

She says, “My favorite thing about being a black woman has to be the fact that we continue to flourish in a world where we really only have each other to lean on. We remain unapologetically ourselves in a society that wants us to minimize our greatness. There is more to our melanin, we are graceful, intelligent, creative, and simply unparalleled.
Black women are the greatest, been the greatest, and will continue to be great.”

We’d like you all to wish our Vice President Jaylin the happiest of Birthday’s. She has been a committed and dedicated member of BBB for two years now, and we appreciate all she does for the org🥳❤️

When I first started my Presidency for the Bold Black Beauties, I was nervous. I remember forgetting all that when I met my eboard. I tried my best to create a family, not just acquaintances. We had BBB bondings. We hung out in between our classes. We looked out for one another. We cracked a lot jokes, and we had A LOT of fun.
In our positions, I wanted us to be able to work with each other, not at each other. I wanted us to be able to work as a collective. And even though our time at our positions this year were cut short, I have no doubt that we did just that.
It wasn’t only done by us though, it was done through the support of the community. You guys showed up on Friday’s at 5 PM to unwind from the busy week with us. You guys participated in our discussions. You guys attended our events. You guys supported our cause. You guys made sure we knew that we were making progress and growing as an org. And for these things we’re so grateful!
No matter what, we appreciate you guys and can’t thank you enough for supporting us this school year. Although things have changed so much in such a little amount of time, we got this. Stay safe, beauties.

Also, BIG BIG BIG thanks to our committee. Thank you guys so much for dedicating yourselves to BBB this year. You’re amazing.
Love,
Madam President & the Bold Black Beauties 🤎💛🧡
