We are so excited for our very first in-person fundraising celebration this Sunday 10/25! & the party just got bigger!

We’ve expanded to now include a special virtual experience so that our extended DFD commUNITY is able to join us as well!

- Heartfelt speeches from our commUNITY

For Down Syndrome Awareness Month, Audrey and Jeremy are sharing what they want people to know. In their own words, they’re proud of who they are, passionate about advocating for others, and determined to pursue the things they love.

They also have some heartfelt advice for parents expecting a baby with Down syndrome. If that’s you, or someone you love, we hope hearing their perspective brings a little comfort and excitement for what’s ahead. 💙

💙💛 Inclusion matters. Kindness matters. Everyone belongs.

Today in our photography class, we created a special reel celebrating inclusion! 📸✨

Inclusion starts in our schools, grows in our communities, and makes a lifelong difference for children, young adults, and adults with Down syndrome and all abilities.

Everyone deserves to be seen, heard, valued, and given the opportunity to shine. 💛

Sometimes, the most meaningful moments come from the conversations we have along the way. 💙💛

While at the NYC @ndssbuddywalk , Audrey and Jeremy met a new mom whose baby was born with Down syndrome. She shared how seeing everything that individuals with Down syndrome are capable of fills her with pride, hope, and excitement for her child's future.

And that's exactly why events like the Buddy Walk matter. They're about celebrating abilities, building community, and showing families what's possible. 💛💙

We had so much fun at the @ndssbuddywalk in NYC! We met so many new and interesting people. This was Nia's first buddy walk and we were so happy to have met her.

If you're new here, the NDSS Buddy Walk is more than just a walk! 💙💛 Hosted by the National Down Syndrome Society, it's a celebration of the Down syndrome community that brings families, friends, and advocates together to raise awareness, promote inclusion, and support individuals with Down syndrome.
