I'm very happy to release EI's second album, "Anastrophe", on Bandcamp: four tracks linked by a figure of inversion, an insurgent future disrupting any consecutively ordered or rational time. https://enemyindustry.bandcamp.com/album/anastrophe “Catastrophe is the past coming apart. Anastrophe is the future coming together.” Sadie Plant and Nick Land. “Cyberpositive,” in: #Accelerate, edited by Robin Mackay and Armen Arvanessian, London: Urbanomic, 2014, pp. 303–14. “The future, always so clear to me, has become like a black highway at night. We were in uncharted territory now... making up history as we went along.” Sarah Connor, Terminator 2: Judgement Day “This is the story of a man, marked by an image from his childhood. The violent scene that upsets him, and whose meaning he was to grasp only years later, happened on the main jetty at Orly, the Paris airport, sometime before the outbreak of World War III.” Chris Marker, La Jetée.

Gee, insta interface changed a lot since last time I posted something. Going back to #AntoninArtaud 's writings thanks to the magic done by @infinitylandpress - excavating underappreciated material, from letters to occult writings. This is post 1 of 2 for now, there might be more. I started reading #SuccubationsAndIncubations in November, before my mother died on December 5, and finished right after. Artaud's letters from the mental asylums, infused with chemistry and electroshocks, reminding us of what the State does through psychiatric and professional normalisation to those who are unruly and surreal, couldn't find a better context given my exploring into my diagnosed schizophrenic mother's secret writings - at points bearing great semblance to Artaud's. No point at sharing the latter for comparison at this stage, but here's a brief comment: Deleuze and Guattari have been absolutely right in merging Capitalism with Schizophrenia, drawing from Artaud's work. In the meantime, other readings such as #Joker or #Carnage reveal further visual semblance between these two characters and Artaud. #SwipeLeft⬅️ for certain evidence. Next post will be about #TheNewRevelationsOfBeing - another excellent edition by #InfinityLandPress . In further memory of a great evening with my pal Bryce, exploring the local Lithuanian restaurant, offering two delicious local beers: #Kanapinis and #VolfasEngelman Imperial Porter. . . #MentalAsylum . . #kanapinisbeer #volfasengelmanimperialporteris #volfasengelmanbrewery #kanapinisalus . . . #booklover #booklovers #booksandbeer #beerandbooks #bookaholic #bookaddict #beeradvocate #bookrecommendations #bookporn #beerhunter #beerporn #beerbeerbeer #beerstagram #bookstagram #instabook #instabeer
