Maybe it’s about time we all realise our potential 🩵

A lot of you may follow me for foodie content, or we’re friends that connected in real life. However this page is not a niche and I let go of ‘social media strategies’ a long time ago, let’s make social media fun again, it’s become wayyy to serious - it really isn’t that deep! share what *you* want to with the world, write stories that only a few may resonate with, dm people you’ve been wanting to be friends with irl. Life really isn’t that serious and that’s what AnnikaPika has always been about, it’s all play.

This shoot was a fun one I did with the multi talented @j.amesrobertson 📸 and lovely @francesdehavas💄💇🏽‍♀️ and my love @jayolivergreen my biggest supporter🫀shot at our baby @greenplacestudios

took me so long to share cos mindset blocks got in the way… but I’ve been modelling more lately and damn I do love it.

Here’s to leaning into curiosity, opportunities and more fun 💓

“No pleasure should remain guilty.”

‘Mania’ proves that right.

Taken from his scintillating debut album, ‘Mania’ sees Josh Caffe present ‘Poppa Zesque’ in full. “Poppa Zesque is a fictional character, but it’s also me”, he explains of his alter-ego, a hard-partying, hedonism-positive trouble magnate navigating East London’s darkest corners. “It’s like this voodooesque being or entity, what I wish I could have been in my twenties; an extroverted, mythical, into-the-night kind of person.”

Co-produced by Quinn Whalley from Paranoid London and partnered with an official video, conceived and co-directed by BAFTA-nominated creative Dawn Shadforth (Kylie Minogue’s ‘Can’t Get You Out Of My Head’) working alongside Jay Oliver Green, ‘Mania’ was shot after several months of intense training by Caffe, and pays tribute to the work of influential choreographers such as Paula Abdul and performers like Janet Jackson, choreographed by @jeanie_crystal

“On the electroclash-leaning ‘Mania’, things take an unexpectedly claustrophobic turn—strobe lights begin to flicker wildly, rendering flashbacks of dark, seedy concrete dance floors. He whispers, “Give me what I want,” each word dropping in sync with a quintuplet of kicks.” - RA

“With its odes to nightlife, house music, Black queerness and personal freedom, Poppa Zesque feels like the culmination of everything Caffe has built over his decade-plus career.” - Crack

Wanna feel your caress
Wanna see you undress
Wanna feel your warmth
Wanna feel your body

Give me what I want.
