Honored that my recording of Arvo Pärt's Für Alina, for Raiford Rogers Modern Ballet's Islands in the Sea, has been selected by the Arvo Pärt Centre to be shown during the work's 50th-anniversary celebrations in Estonia.

Composed in 1976, Für Alina was the first work in Pärt's tintinnabuli style. His instruction is to play "in calm, uplifted manner, listening to one's inner self."
With sincere thanks to the Arvo Pärt Centre and to this remarkable team.

Choreography: Raiford Rogers

Artwork: Mike Nava
Lighting Design: John A. Garofalo

There’s a lot I don’t have to do, and I’m gonna try to not do it therefore I won’t make it.

"Achilles" | Premiering 4.21.26 at Miami City Ballet's Next Stage Pop-up performance | A modern retelling of Achilles, Thetis, and the three Fates | I'm grateful to have collaborated with this talented cast to bring my second short story ballet to life. This piece is vastly different from my last, but just as challenging and risky. | As someone who's been trained in narrative ballets since I was 12, it's exhilarating to bring my own ideas to the stage and push the boundaries of storytelling. | Artists: @j0rdanmartinez @macagimenez93 @jaypearr @giselletiret @kaelahpoulos. Stunning costumes (designed by me) crafted by @carriecmiami. Hair pieces and styles created by the artists themselves! Music: Secret Love by Stavrianos and Nicos. @miamicityballet @miamibeachbandshell
