Jay Pinto just wrote the song for people who are always somewhere else in their head!

Intimate, organic folk-rock textures. Rich Wurlitzer tones. A thoughtful, deeply resonant meditation on choosing human connection over the rush to get somewhere.
@jaypinto makes Arrive or Company? feel like an absolute masterclass in honest songwriting. 🛣️

🎶✨ JAY PINTO | “ARRIVE OR COMPANY?” 🎸🌿

Seattle songwriter Jay Pinto explores the choice between reaching a destination and having someone beside you along the way. ❤️ Built on layered acoustic guitars, warm rhythms, Wurlitzer keys and intimate vocal harmonies, this thoughtful folk rock single celebrates connection, companionship and embracing uncertainty. 🎹🎤 Sometimes, the journey matters more than the destination. 💫

As I was putting this end-of-year reel together I couldn’t help but notice how much I smile for pictures. It’s second nature to me. But to be honest, it’s deceptive - 2024 was a really hard year, and I’m happy to see it end. Between dealing with anemia, going through 2 surgeries, putting up with a terrible work environment, losing my dog and navigating care for an elderly loved one, it’s been relentless. But there were bits of light peeking through the dark - we became homeowners, became auntie and uncle a third time, we reconnected with friends, I joined a bowling league, got hired at an outstanding school community that fits just right, made some music at @production_playhouse at @spellboundrecorders and played violin with the @childrensorchestrasociety … and we saw an entire cycle of four seasons go by, which we hadn’t experienced in 12 years. ❄️🌸🌿🍁
This year, I learned to be more present and less online.
I learned that my worth is more than my creative output.
And while I miss the life I used to have in LA - focusing on nothing but my music - I feel better-rounded and a little more whole.
No idea what comes next, but keeping the faith, because there are still tons of blessings from above and lots to be thankful for.
