F Marry Kill – 7.0 - The trailers for this movie hooked me immediately with its unique storyline. I have a soft spot for anything involving serial killers or murder mysteries, so this was a must-watch. What I didn’t expect was a clever social satire on the online dating scene, how much trust we blindly place in strangers we meet online and just how fast things can spiral out of control. The story was quick-paced and entertaining, capturing the chaotic energy of dating and the whirlwind of meeting so many different people after a breakup. The contrasting dates were a highlight, adding humor and charm to an otherwise dark premise. Lucy Hale delivered a solid performance, which wasn’t surprising as I’ve been a fan since her Pretty Little Liars days. What really stood out was the ending. The movie keeps you guessing about the killer’s identity the whole way through, and the reveal was completely unexpected. I thought I had it figured out, but they pulled the rug out from under me in the best way. While it’s not going to win any awards, F Marry Kill is a fun and suspenseful watch, perfect for a casual movie night with your significant other.
