And did yall peep he was walking down the aisle??? He didn’t walk quite far enough to see me though🤣

it’s no secret that it’s often hard to find moments of joy with everything going on. especially when you’re waking up to new headlines that get more and more disturbing.

I hope you found just a moment of joy this past month and remember you have free will. I’m not saying blow your savings, but at least make new memories that heals your inner child.

From feeling myself to getting back into content creating, I offer my May recap for your viewing pleasures.

I got Langston 6 months ago and I just realized how he’s helping me heal.

So I wanted to share 5 reasons having a dog can help heal your grief:

1. The feeling of not being alone. Even if you’re someone who likes their alone time, your doggo senses how you feel and can comfort you even in the hardest moments.

2. The excitement of seeing you every single morning is unmatched.

3. Cuddles. More cuddles. Even more cuddles. Your dog will squeeze in the tiniest part of the couch just to be next to you, to lay on you or just be near you.

4. Leaving the house reminds you that you’re coming back to unconditional love and admiration. Like seriously, my dog will stare at me from across the room.

5. You’ll smile daily – which is extremely healthy! As soon as I wake up and he meets me at the door, he’s so excited to see me. No matter which side of the bed I wake up on, his excitement makes me laugh immediately.

It took me a full week to process my 38th Birthday! The amount of self growth is something I hadn’t stopped to truly recognize, that in itself is an accomplishment! Letting go of comfort is extremely difficult, the unknown is terrifying but the surrender is so powerful! This Birthday was special, and my friends and family from all over, made it just that! For every friend that showed up for me to celebrate, new friends that pour into me, friends I’ve deepened connections with, my cousin that called me, my sisters in Bmore called harmonizing, I literally heard from everyone that cares for me! My mom calling at midnight with all them questions 🤣 and sang happy birthday🥹❤️🙏🏾🌹I’m not sure when I became such a mush but I’m so grateful!! I haven’t had such a great time in a long time at it was great❤️❤️❤️ BTW if you have footage of me that’s not in good taste, bury it🤣🤣🤣
@vanguardarts.us @energygardens @kandyappletree @miamivibesdining great #black #business in #dallas thank you all for making my birthday memorable 🙏🏾❤️🌹
