How do you celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month? The United Teachers of Dade (UTD) reached out to Amelia 1931 and asked to be part of their Flamenco Wednesdays on September 23 and 30, and October 7 and 14. We sincerely thank Chef/Restaurateur Eileen Andrade for welcoming UTD members and making us feel right at home! UTD members receive a complimentary sangria when they call to reserve or make a reservation through OpenTable and mention “UTD.” There are still two opportunities to experience Flamenco Wednesdays at Amelia 1931! It’s a wonderful evening filled with incredible entertainment, delicious food, and a warm, welcoming staff. Thanks again, Chef Eileen and your entire team, for making UTD feel so welcome and for helping us celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month in such a memorable way! 💃🇪🇸❤️#hispanicheritagemonth #unitedteachersofdade #amelias1931 #chefeileenandrade #thankyou

We decided to close out our evening at Amelia 1931 for their “Late Night Happy Hour,” and what an unexpected and wonderful surprise it turned out to be. As I was quietly enjoying a drink, a lovely lady I hadn’t seen in quite some time happened to walk over and say hello. As it turns out, they were there celebrating her husband’s birthday and, of course, we happily joined in on the celebration! The staff at Amelia’s is always so welcoming. Feels like family! Sometimes the best moments of an evening are the ones you never planned for. #amelias1931 #westdade #latenighthappyhour🍹🥃 #makingmemories❤️

Always feel right at home @amelias1931 . 🥂✨ I’ll admit it: I’m unapologetically bougie when it comes to cocktails. I don’t just think I know quality—I know intentional quality! @jayy_fizz simply has the magic touch, and every single cocktail is made to absolute perfection. Also, a huge shoutout to the gentleman from Texas who agreed to eat half of my shrimp scampi pasta! 🍤 (It’s on a limited menu, so seriously, hurry over and try it before it’s gone!) #smallbusinesslove #craftcocktails #bougiedrinks #bestchef #shrimppasta

A great time was had at June’s Pour Decisions Cocktail Class at Amelia’s 1931! Instead of featuring a single spirit, as is customary each month, this class celebrated two of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite cocktails: the Hemingway Daiquiri and the El Señor Santiago. The Hemingway Daiquiri showcased two types of rum, while the El Señor Santiago featured gin. As we all know, Hemingway was not only a prolific writer but also someone who appreciated a good drink. The class was led by Amelia’s Bar Manager, Jasmin and featured Gio Gutierrez, Havana Club Brand Ambassador, who shared his expertise and stories behind these classic drinks. Chef Eileen Andrade created three outstanding bar bites to accompany the cocktails, and every one of them was absolutely delicious. The Pour Decisions Cocktail Class is always a fun and informative experience. If you’d like to attend the next class, it’s scheduled for July 21, with session at 5:30 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. #pourdecisions #amelias1931 #cocktailclass #pourdecisionscocktailclass

And then there are my absolute staples: Finka Table & Tap and Amelia’s 1931. 🍹🥩✨ My love affair with Finka actually started right in the middle of the pandemic when I was just dropping by to pick up food to-go. Fast forward to today, and both Finka and Amelia’s have officially become my ultimate, regular go-to spots. Over the last few years, I have made so many unforgettable memories and found some incredible, lifelong friends within those walls. Whether it’s the unmatched vibes or the best food in town, these places truly feel like an extension of home! 🥂🍛❤️ #finkatableandtap #amelias1931 #chefeileenandrade #homesweethome #makingmemories❤️

I had the pleasure of participating in a wonderful evening at Amelia’s 1931 with Chef Eileen Andrade and Cornell Vineyards. We were welcomed with a glass of wine and a crowd favorite…the croqueta…setting the tone for what would be a memorable dining experience. The first wine of the evening was the 2017 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, beautifully paired with our opening course…ravioloni filled with pulled short rib and maitake mushrooms, finished with a passionfruit and Parmesan cream. Next, we enjoyed the 2021 Commitment Cabernet Sauvignon alongside the main entrée. I selected the filet mignon, served with kimchi-butter mushrooms and a truffle potato pavé—an exceptional combination. Our final wine was the 2021 Estate Grown Cabernet Sauvignon, paired with dessert…a chocolate mousse complemented by a clarified tomato and fried basil sauce. While the sauce may sound unexpected, it was absolutely divine. Thank you to Luke of Cornell Vineyards, Chef Eileen Andrade, and the entire Amelia’s 1931 staff for an unforgettable evening filled with outstanding food, exceptional wines, and great company. #amelias1931 #chefeileenandrade #cornellvineyards #winetasting🍷 #greatevening❤️
