POSTS STORIES REELS TAGGED

#waybackwednesday to a moment that was so surreal for me. I remember watching this dance from the audience years ago and seeing these women (amongst many other alumni) show me a side of hip hop i rarely saw at the time. The song choices and the way they were mixed in combination with the movement made me think, I wanna be in that. How do I get in with this group lol. Years later I was able to work with @leah.totten in @bossdanceco in which I learned many wondering things from. Including her gifting me with the opportunity to not only learn this piece choreography, but to also be buffed in the centre of it in a show in which we performed it! Even if it was only 20 seconds, and even if the only real footage I have of it is the rehearsal vid, I think it’s important to appreciate the small things and how far we’ve all come. Such a cool moment to look back on :) #bossdancecompany #leahtottenchoreography

"SHARING IS CARING" - Choreography by @pyro_perspective
_____________________
Dopest recap of our @choreoball piece done by @eddie.cam . Shout out to @like.lasagna and @jacob.khoe for the footage as well!
.
.
💫 Our hope through our piece was to share knowledge. Everything we showed you is what we learn and train every Sunday for the last 5 years: "History, knowledge, vocabulary and technique of the Street Dance culture." We literally shared a piece of us with you and we thank you for listening.🙏
.
.
⚠️In other news, we have a project in the works involving Footnotes Academy and Eddie, the maker of this recap... Stay tuned, we can't wait to share that with you too.
