Every Living Moment🫶🏼

Being a choreographer in the Spring Repertory Concert was one of the best parts of my college career. I was blessed to have worked with the best cast on the planet to create a piece I was passionate about and proud of. I couldn’t have done it without my friends and family supporting me throughout this process. Also a huge shout out and thank you to Jack Tomayko and the Tomayko Foundation for awarding my piece the Outstanding Choreography Award. I appreciate all the love and support this piece has received and thank you to all who were apart of Every Living Moment!!🫶🏼🫶🏼🫶🏼

RED Synesthesia
So grateful for my beautiful cast!! ❤️
My piece is inspired by the idea of a “red sun” and the feeling of synesthesia.
Synesthesia is the blending of the senses, where sound, color, and feeling collide, creating a deep, instinctive reaction in the body.
In this piece, the red sun creates a physical and emotional reaction in the body, giving rise to movement that embodies synesthesia. While this is an individual experience, we all have reactions to the world around us, and when those reactions overlap, they can create an entirely new realm of sensation. The work explores the tension between resisting control and embracing feeling, letting the body respond to the stimuli in its own, instinctive way.

The Art of Movement: “OPEN EY3S”

OPEN EY3S is the concept of one’s focus being shifted by a sound, a feeling, or a moment of seeing. It explores the experience of losing control over what you perceive and how those perceptions shape your emotions and actions. It reflects the intense struggle to reclaim your VISION, the battle between gaining strength or letting the moment rush over you. It is about finding your power in and through society, and the forces that continually shape us.
