This is the results when a venue cancels your show and you’re a true Leo. @maysaleakmusic produced her own show and did it better than any Baltimore venue on a waterfront. 😎 My #1 Godson @jazzakuru beautifully captured a whole weekend in this recap video at @livecasinomd . So the next time we say Blue Velvet Soul Records is doing something get your tickets early. #maysa #TeamMaysa #mdlive

AFRO HAUS! 500 of y’all showed up and shut it down! 🔥

The DJs went crazy. The vendors came through. The food from @thejollofbowl had a line for a reason. But the vibe? The vibe was YOU.

You came. You danced. You let your soul move free. That’s the whole point. That’s what we’re building.

Drop a 🔥 if it hit for you.

TODAY WE DANCE. ✨

What started as an idea, a conversation, a dream of bringing the Afro House community together in Baltimore has become real.

Months of planning.
Countless phone calls.
Late nights and early mornings.
DJs, artists, promoters, creatives, venue partners, friends, and a community that believed in what we were building.

To everyone who played a part in getting us here, thank you. ❤️

And to everyone who bought a ticket, shared a post, invited a friend, saved a video, sent a text, or simply believed in the vision, this moment belongs to you too.

Today, we stop planning.

We stop building.

We stop worrying about the details.

Today, we enjoy.

We dance.
We connect.
We heal
We celebrate.
We find our people.
We find our Soul Tribe.

Today we say yes to loving ourselves and experiencing more things. The life you want is waiting for you to reach for it.

History is made one dance floor at a time.

As Afro House continues its rise from an underground movement to one of the most influential sounds in global electronic music, we’re honored to welcome one of the artists helping shape that movement.

This Saturday marks Üdorā’s first-ever Baltimore performance, making it a milestone not only for the artist, but for our city’s growing Afro House community.

It’s an opportunity to experience one of the genre’s rising DJ/producers in an intimate setting with a community that truly understands the music.

If you’ve been waiting to experience Afro House the way it’s meant to be heard, surrounded by people who love the culture as much as you do, this is your moment.

One of the greatest joys of building Afro Haus has been watching strangers become friends.

Watching people walk into a room alone and leave with new connections. Seeing conversations spark on the dance floor, friendships form in line for a drink, and a shared love for music turn into a real community.

That’s what this has always been about.

We’re not just throwing events. We’re creating spaces where people can find their soul tribe.

Baltimore is full of incredible people looking for genuine connection, and every Afro Haus reminds us that when you create the right environment, the right people find each other.

Getting to this moment has taken an incredible village. Promoters, DJs, artists, our venue partners, photographers, videographers, volunteers, and so many people working behind the scenes. Countless phone calls, Zoom meetings, late nights, early mornings, and endless belief that this city deserves a home for Afro House culture.

This Saturday, 8/8, we get to celebrate all of it together.

And for anyone wondering about the weather, we’ve got you covered, literally. Mosaic is a covered venue, so we’ll be dancing rain or shine.

⚡ THIS SATURDAY • AUGUST 8 (8/8) ⚡

Baltimore, we’re bringing the sounds of Afro House, Afro Tech, and global rhythms to Mosaic at Power Plant Live for a night built around music, culture, and community.

Leading the charge is ÜDORĀ, one of the DMV’s most exciting Afro House artists, known for sharing stages with international names including Shimza, MoBlack, Amémé, and Dlala Thukzin. His signature sound blends deep percussion, melodic storytelling, and the kind of energy that keeps dance floors moving all night long.

Joining him is Solure, along with a curated lineup of friends and special guests, each bringing their own unique flavor to create an unforgettable experience from open to close.

Whether you’re a dedicated Afro House fan or just looking for something different next weekend, AFROHAUS is where you’ll want to be.

MAIN CHARACTER ENERGY LOOKS DIFFERENT WHEN YOU CREATE IT YOURSELF 🎭✨🎨🌱

This #ArtTherapyThursday, we’re reflecting on one of our favorite moments from Minority Mental Health Month, where creativity became a mirror 🪞, healing became the process ❤️‍🩹, and every participant stepped into the role of their own main character🌟

At our Character Creation vs. Self Creation workshop, participants didn’t just paint 3D figurines🎨🧸

They gave shape to identity, transformed stories into art, and explored who they’ve been, who they are, and who they’re becoming. 🌱✨

Because the strongest main character isn’t the loudest person in the room - it’s the one courageous enough to keep growing 💛🦋

Huge appreciation to creative facilitator Tone Butta (@butta_customs) for inspiring bold imagination through character design 🎭🎨, and therapeutic facilitator Dr. Munazza (@dr.munazza_) for creating space for honest reflection, healing, and meaningful conversation. 🧠💬🤝 Collectively, they reminded us that art isn’t just something we make, but it’s also something that can reshape and remake us ✨

Here’s your reminder:
✨ You are allowed to rewrite the narrative. 📖
🎨 You are allowed to evolve. 🌿
🧠 You are allowed to become the hero of your own story. 👑

Create 🎨
Heal ❤️‍🩹
Become✨

🤝 Special thanks to the Kappa Foundation of Fort Washington @kffworg and Prince George’s Parks & Recreation @pgparks for believing in the power of creative wellness and helping make experiences like this possible.
