It’s been a little over a month since our last show in Osaka. I’ve been thinking about what to say to wrap my experience up and I still don’t think I’ve found the words. This was something that I had never even thought was possible for me to achieve. Watching this show on YouTube in high school not giving it a second thought as to if there was any sort of chance that I would be a part of this family. And that’s what this summer was. I have never experienced a place where I can truly say that I have met a family outside of where I grew up. This life altering, beautiful, wonderful, eye opening experience is one that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I wish I could put my whole camera roll on here, but even that wouldn’t do this experience justice. It didn’t even hit me that I was about to embark on this journey until 3 weeks in Japan. The most surreal experience ever. With the greatest people ever. I miss every single one of you dearly and I am always a phone call away. And thank you to all of you for helping me through the crazy imposter syndrome, injuries, and allowing me to recognize my self worth in my musicianship. The future of this show is unknown. But if I ever get that phone call, I will be there in a heart beat. Thank you Blast.

Waving goodbye to my second Blast tour :))

The end of this tour marked two years on the road and it has been the best two years of my life! I’m grateful to be taking a “break” for a little bit.

But anyways here’s some pictures from the summer 🥸

i never take enough pictures. i don’t have one with everyone, but know that i love you.🫶🏾

i miss it everyday. i am forever grateful to be part of something so much bigger than i am. being surrounded so many talented, beautiful, good-hearted people day in and day out was something inspired me constantly. i learned so much about who i am, who i want to be, and what i have to give: the answer is not perfection, but love. love through every movement, and every moment. i know that this cast delivered that energy time and time again. you are amazing performers, and even more amazing people. y’all really rock.🥹

i truly am so so so proud to be part of such a beautiful production. i have so much love for everyone in this company. i will always cherish the kind words, late night convos, konbini runs, and overall buffoonery we got into.😭

to all the fans who supported us time and time again, thank you. i hope i was able to move you in some way. i will be back someday. matane:)

Blast! Osaka shows on Aug 29th & 30th! 🎺✨It was absolutely amazing and so incredibly moving!On the 29th, when Beasley came down to the audience, he sat right next to me and we high-fived! I was beyond happy!I was so lucky to get front-row seats for both the intermission and the send-off on both days!On the 29th, I sat right at the front on the side during intermission. Maddy and JT were so close—my heart was pounding the whole time!On the 30th, I was in the second row, but sitting right in front. The non-stop excitement was unreal!Naoki Ishikawa was right in front of my eyes. We made eye contact, and at the end, he literally shot me with a finger gun! I was over the moon! 🔫💕Although I couldn't get his autograph on my folder, he gave me two high-fives! My heart was beating out of my chest! 🔥💓On Day 2, I managed to get so many cast signatures on my folder!I was also thrilled to get JT to sign my drumsticks!It blew my mind when one cast member passed my folder to another so they could sign it too! 🥺It truly became an unforgettable summer. 😊Even three weeks later, the music is still blasting on repeat in my head! 🤣🎶

Incredibly thankful for all the experiences this past summer. I will never forget all the shows, all the conversations, and all the little moments that reminded me of why I wanted to become a trumpet player in the first place. Grateful for you all and I hope to see everyone soon. ❤️

Hamamatsu, Osaka, and the End

I love these people with all of my heart and I’m so happy we were all here together for this small moment in time. I wouldn’t trade this summer for anything.

Closing party - 2 show day with some very emotional runs leading into a closing night party. Super fun with some good food and drinks. Great news was delivered with a healthy serving of uncertainty

Tried Eel for the first time, it was not as bad as I thought it was going to be but it wouldn’t be my go to order.

Osaka baseball game - Go Buffaloes, even if they lose by 8 and get outscored 9-0 in the third inning…

Osaka was a very cool city with a lot to do, it sucks we didn’t get to spend more time there.

Amazing Indian food for @landlockedtrombonist birthday!

Headed home - it was sad seeing our group wither away from stop to stop. Osaka->Tokyo->ATL->DFW - @jonahhammett and I got to travel to every stop together. Funny full circle moment, he was the first one I met on the plane to Japan 3 months ago!

I’m going to miss this show and miss these people, I’m excited to see what’s next for them, for me, and for us
