For my 24th Birthday, i wanted to drop this song that expresses alot of my journey up until this point and to remind myself that no matter what i lose along my path the people i retain and the new things i gain are worth pushing further.

I hope this helps someone else keep pushin too 🫶🏾.

Thank you guys for everything and all of the support on my works and all of your future support 🫶🏾!

*“Dysfunktional” (D-Funk) is the story of 9* black nerds finding their passion and people in the modern HBCU establishment.

▶️ Play… “It’s finally upon us. Although season 4 is still underway, I couldn’t let this one sit. Time is nebulous. It takes a lot for us to make anything productive out of it but that’s always been and always will be the fun part. Now that the time has come for us to lead our own stories, may we be immortalized in the stories we’ve made together. I love you folks. Godspeed. Stay Royal. And when the world gets tough, you get brutal. BBB for life.”👊🏾😤
I’ll see you soon. ❤️‍🔥

We survived asynchronous classes, zoom, FaceTime or Google Meet voice lessons and navigating a whole pandemic. The resilience of this class is astounding. I am down 4 ladies in Trebled Soul, but I welcome 4 musicians to the other side of being degreed.

To my boys from Delta Beta aka Dem Boys, Da Kids Next Door… I am super emotional because I’ve watched you mature from men who enjoyed music to being men who uphold the standards of music in every room that you enter. There is still work to be done. Welcome to being Alumni brothers in Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia of America!

It is your turn to take flight and set the world on fire. You’ve earned this! Go be awesome! Congratulations! #myasu
