This was hands down my most magical Summer of Sound yet. 🎵💜✨

From reconnecting with familiar faces to meeting so many new ones, thank you to everyone who stopped by the Holly Style booth, shopped, shared kind words, tried on treasures, and supported this little dream of mine.

A huge thank you to my incredible assistant @rave4death who was an absolute gem. 💎 Your help, positivity, and sparkle made everything run so much smoother, and I couldn’t have done it without you.

This event also marked the very first outing for my ✨ Treasure Transformations ✨ collection, and I was blown away by the response. Seeing these one-of-a-kind creations find new homes, hearing all your thoughtful compliments, and watching this new chapter of Holly Style come to life was such a special moment.

Here’s to creativity, community, and a little bit of magic. Until the next adventure… 💖✨

Last New Year’s Eve, my mom called me to tell me she needed to go to urgent care. With multiple trips in 2024 to and from the hospital, in the moment I assumed it would be another quick trip and she would return home normally. I had no idea it would be one of our last coherent conversations.

Within a few days, it felt different. I knew in my gut she wasn’t going to return home this time and she had another place to go to. In the first few weeks of what I thought was going to be “my year”, I was broken.

This year put me through the wringer. I lost my person. I had to rehome my two best friends because I didn’t have the capacity or resources to take care of them. I lost a job at a company that I thought I’d be with until I was basically retired. I’ve cried enough tears to fill the Pacific Ocean. So many fragments of my shattered self have been left all over this year.

Yet I’m still here somehow. And I’m ready to put this awful year behind me. 3 weeks into my thirties and a fresh year may fix me. I’ve experienced all of my firsts without my momma by now. The first obstacle is clear and I’m ready for this new year to help me to break into the best version of myself.

I’ve never been more thankful for the love I’ve taken in this year but I’m ready for a clean slate. Thankful for the memories that caused me to somehow smile through the grief. Here’s to more hot dogs, cheese pulls, lesbians, long distance reunions, shows, and great memories to be made. 2026, please be kind.

This week was the incredible launch of Bison on the Boulevard 💛 and it is breathtaking.

A powerful herd of 8ft x 5ft concrete bison have made their way down Roblin Blvd, standing proud between Shaftsbury and Assiniboine Park Drive. More than just art, these majestic creatures are symbols of strength, resilience, and community.

This beautiful initiative supports Toba Centre for Children & Youth and young people impacted by abuse across our province—reminding us all of the importance of standing together and standing strong.

Huge kudos to the visionary volunteer ambassadors John Bockstael, Lorraine Maciboric, and Ken Talbot, and to the amazing team at Graffiti Art Programming (GAP), local artists, and all the generous sponsors who made this possible. Manitoba, your heart shows. 🦬💙

Please take time to visit this incredible installation. As you approach the sculptures, there is a QR code. You can scan to learn more about the artist and their inspiration.

Follow @tobacentremb to learn more about the incredible work that they do and the ways you can support.
