We are blessed with the most incredible welfare angels, who will be guiding you through the night with care and positive energy 🪽

Our welfare team can be identified by a 🏮red light-up armband🏮, and they can support you at any point if you are feeling unwell, uncomfortable, or if something isn’t going quite as planned.

Kubilay (they/them) works in LGBTIQ+ homelessness. They are trained in First Aid and Mental Health First Aid. They are passionate about creating a safe but silly space for their queer sisters. Feel free to approach them throughout the night if you need any help or lollipops! 🍭

Jasmine Cavargna-Sani (she/her) is focused on making dance floors safer spaces where people can access information, look out for one another, and better understand and manage drug-related risks without judgement. She believes that community care, compassion, and informed choices help everyone have safer and more enjoyable nights. Feel free to approach her throughout the night if you have any questions about harm reduction or just want a friendly chat. 🫧

If the welfare team are unavailable our core team are also trained to offer support and you are welcome to approach them at any point (except while they are behind the decks!).

We will be sharing more information about our welfare and safety policy later this week. See you in 3 days time at @ormsideprojects

A lot of pictures and A little message to my friends 🫂

Since the siblings Tati & Yoyo got stuck with me during Covid.

Since those first parties.

I was there when @dancingfamilyrecords took its first breath.

Since the mixes, the gigs, the new stars, the day parties and club nights in South East London, the zines, the podcasts, the pop-ups. Watching my besties’s idea become a living, breathing organism has been one of the greatest pleasure of my life. This year, I had the joy of leading our volunteers. Jeez I loved playing boss and trouble maker. You guys were my heroes🎭 Along with the whole Dancing Family team 🥁You all reminded of how much creativity, resilience and kindness there is in communion and teamwork. 🫶

I was gifted the magic of playing alongside Alex 🪼 Aquamarine… my sister.. what a beautiful women you are…it was a fruity collision of our intricacies. Absolutely ridiculous-beautiful set. I am so proud of us. I screamed into the mic. We got undressed. We danced ourselves into another dimension which is weird but safe.

I had another chance to lead a strange movement improvisation practice with my special friends at Big Ears during DF Festival. Thank you to everyone who came, who trusted me, who let go, who moved with one another. Oh huge appreciation to the wonderful team @big_____ears for slaying the land with your system and attitude.

I was also welcomed into the @eachoneteachone.ecosystem sanctuary 🫂🪬 A place where I could play the sounds of the in-between, hear stories carried through timeless bass, and witness something quietly revolutionary.

Outside of Dancing Family, life has shifted too.

Almost a month ago, I left my full-time job which yielded my passion and care.

I feel a new type of confidence.
Not because I know what’s next, but because for the first time in a long time, possibilities don’t feel impossible anymore.

Today I’m flying to Italy to begin another journey with new beings, new stories, and no real plan but @altrefrontiere
