Last night was just a full night with our Best Baseball Boys. After a yummy meal that Lee Cave grilled and a little Atlanta Braves on tv and card looking it was time for… Mouse Trap Jenga!
(I tried to cut it down further. Sorry. But if you don’t watch it until the end, you’ll regret it. Come on, it’s only a little over 3 min. Do it!)

JB MIDDLETON is a pitcher from Mississippi. The right hander was selected out of the University of Southern Mississippi in the second round of the 2025 draft by the Rockies. He received a $2.07 million bonus to begin his professional career.
Middleton dealt with injuries during his freshman year of college then control issues out of the bullpen his sophomore season but was given the opportunity to start games as a junior and ran with it, leading the Sun Belt Conference in most pitching categories and ranking second among all D1 pitchers with a .85 WHIP. The new found success correlated with a rise in velocity that saw him sitting at 94-95 mph with good movement on his fastball. The Rockies No. 7 prospect follows that with a mid 80s slider and an upper 80s moving change up. The 22 year old stands at 6 foot and the Rockies are impressed with his bulldog work ethic and ability to improve his command. With base Bowman 1st autos going for less than $10, this is a solid opportunity to take a flyer on an over achieving pitcher who’s shown the ability to adapt while possessing solid velocity and pitch movement.
