I know it’s been a couple of weeks, but I want to take a moment to share what God has done over the summer and past five years of my life through camp.

This may be a long post, but when I look back through these pictures, I can’t help but see the Lord’s faithfulness in every memory, every friendship, and every moment.

When I first stepped into camp ministry in 2022, I was in a unique season of life and wasn’t entirely sure what God was calling me to do. Still, I chose to put my “yes” on the table, and through that simple yes, God lit a fire in me for camp ministry and showed me the incredible things He can do through it.

I began as a CONNECT Leader, learning what it truly looked like to serve. Through out the next two years I was a CONNECT director truly learning what it was like to be in leadership. In 2025, I had the opportunity to step into the role of Director and lead a team. Now, as I finish my final summer in 2026, I am stepping away from my role with GENERATE to pursue other areas.

This is a hard goodbye.

To the 2026 Orange Team: I am so thankful for the summer we shared. It was a joy to watch each of you put your yes on the table and see how the Lord used you throughout the summer. I truly could not have asked for a better team to share my final year with. What a summer, one for the books!

As I step away, I’m reminded that life is made up of seasons. Some last longer than others, but each one leaves an impact on our lives. No matter what happens, whom we meet, or what we walk through, God faithfully walks with us in every season.

To every person I have had the privilege of serving alongside, leading, learning from, or simply meeting along the way: thank you. The past five years have been an incredible gift, and I am deeply grateful for every memory, every person, and every opportunity the Lord has so graciously given me.

What a wonderful five years it has been. I can’t wait to see what God does next.

Over 7,000+ miles driven, A lot of sins forgiven, God’s Kingdom has risen.

Genuinely greatest team to be apart of and wouldn’t trade anything for it. 🧡

I’ve been everywhere…is an understatement. 7 is the number of completion 7,000 miles, over 7,000 students reached, and 70 days full of fun, smiles, laughs, dance parties, worshiping the Lord, and most importantly the work of the Holy Spirit. The Lord has shown me to find joy and gratitude in the little things and love even the smallest of moments. Hard times come but they prepare you for the next hard thing; they strengthen our faith and show that what we have to come is something greater than what this world could ever give to us. Struggles show us our need for vulnerability and community. I genuinely couldn’t have done this summer without these incredible people. Thank you orange team for putting up with my crazy self and loving me for the person I am!! This summer was SOO AMEN!!

Too many states and miles traveled to count, but my heart is so full.

This summer truly changed me in more ways than I could’ve ever imagined. So many laughs, late nights, early mornings, answered prayers, and reminders of God’s faithfulness. Forever thankful for every person, every camper,every moment but especially my orange team🧡

THESE PEOPLE!! THIS SUMMER!! i can’t
understand His love and i don’t know if i ever truly will. His love is a love i could never deserve or earn even if i tried my hardest. it’s also a love that never leaves or walks out even if i tried my hardest. He’s consistent, He relentlessly pursues, He’s not afraid of the mess or the questions. He desires to be near. it’s who He is and it’s what He does. this love isn’t like any other love. it’s unconditional, it’s pure, it transforms and marks you. it’s an overwhelming love that makes no sense but causes you to respond. He’s good. He’s safe. He’ll never leave. and i’m completely in love.

I’m extremely grateful for my life right now. I’m simply blown away by God and all He has done this summer. Looking back, I never could have imagined the doors He would open, the people He would place in my life, or the ways He would grow me. Through every challenge, every conversation, and every opportunity, He has been so faithful. I’m overwhelmed with gratitude because none of this is something I could have orchestrated on my own. God has been far better to me than I deserve, and I’m excited to see what He continues to do.

First week of camp down! Fire team splits up tomorrow but then we are off to NC and start our adventures across the country. I learned so much this week, the importance of a name, how to teach kindness (@isabella.sweasy), how to push vans up mountains x2, and most importantly the stories are true those bubbles for celebration are slippery…no further comment.
