My babies know their mama so well. I didn’t ask for a picture but they know I want one. They didn’t go together to the bonfire but still found each other to take a pic for their mama. Carson also texted me at 2:45am to let me know he was on his way home. He knows I will wake up at random and check to see where they all are.

Still trying to wrap my head around this one.

“The Things You’ve Done” is premiering this week on the syndicated Red Dirt Proud show across 57 stations.

Hearing JB Cloud say my name, introduce my song, and then hearing it hit right after Cody Johnson...

Mind-blowing.

And the craziest part? It sounded like it belonged there.

Red Dirt Proud airs Wednesday through Sunday depending on the station.

“The Things You’ve Done” drops Friday, October 2nd at midnight.

Two years ago, I was making the music you’re hearing now. My tribe is mighty. My music is independent. My team is small, but scrappy and strong. But my art is not instant, because it’s mostly just me (writing, funding, deciding, releasing). One time a record label told me I was just too old for them to sign me. I was 26. ☠️ I’m busier than I want to be, but I’m still doing all I can to create art and live shows that matter and last. Women starting out in this scene say that my career matters to them, and that’s all the fuel that I need to keep going. Thank you for being here with me. I feel it. I’m going to a bunch of different states and new venues/places this fall. It’s going to be really hard, and equally awesome. Hope to see you there. ❤️‍🔥
