Today, at 3W Farm & Ranch Rescue, we had the honor of providing our facilities for hosting two beautiful horses & their Deputies from the Texas DPS Mounted Patrol Unit! Hosting a majestic Clydesdsle named Karen & a stunning Draft Cross gelding named Cherokee was a great experience for us! These hero’s are in town for a law enforcement recruitment event & we loved meeting these giant Hero’s who serve & protect everyday 🇺🇸 We are proud to support Texas DPS & host their beautiful horses while they stay in Beaumont!

EDIT TO ADD BY 3W:
Months ago we rescued a young baby donkey from a Texas kill pen and named him Merle! He has been growing & thriving while becoming BESTIES with a sweet Thorobred horse we have accepted into our rescue. It is an honor to care for both of these guys! We would also like to thank Jordan & Skylar for the consistent help & happiness they contribute weekly to our dream & mission at 3W Farm & Ranch Rescue 🫏🐎

Butterfly season for Merle & Iceman🥹🥹🥹 We love seeing these babies blossom!!

Also happy college gameday🤪👍🏼

Our sweet Boone🤍

He gave the best hugs, was always there when we needed him, and will be missed more than words can say.

Until we meet again, sweet boy. Run free with no pain.🪽💔

Our hearts are very heavy this morning. 🤍

Last night, we had to say goodbye to our sweet Boone. About a year ago, Boone was diagnosed with EPM. Our incredible vet team gave him another precious year with us, and we will forever be grateful for every extra day we were blessed to have with him.

Unfortunately this time the parasite was too much for his neurological system. As much as we wanted to keep fighting for him, he was telling us that he couldn’t go any further. It was an incredibly difficult decision for our veterinary team and our family to make, but we knew it was time to let him go peacefully.

Boone was everyone’s dream horse. Though he came from a kill pen, he showed nothing but love and compassion to those he met. He had a way of teaching everyone who met him a life lesson, and every lesson was different for each person who crossed his path. He gave the absolute best hugs, and somehow, he always seemed to be there when we needed him most. He was more than just a horse to us. He was a friend, a teacher, and a part of our family.

Our hearts are broken, but we find comfort knowing that Boone is no longer hurting and is finally back with his best friend, Penelope. 🤍🐴

Thank you, Boone, for every hug, every lesson, every memory, and for giving us one more year with you. You were so deeply loved, and you will be missed more than words can say.

Until we meet again, sweet boy. Run free with no pain alongside all of the other horses our family has lost over the years.🤍

3 years of JB & it just keeps getting better! 🤍

You love deeply and always show up for your people. You catch the biggest redfish I’ve ever seen, and the dogs & farm animals are so lucky to have you as someone who loves and cares for them.

I can’t wait for you to be my husband and to spend forever with you! 💍🤍 I love you!

As of June 3, 2026 ❤️ Indy has officially started her next chapter!

We are so thrilled to share that @jordanbeal and @skylar.harrison from @3w_farmandranchrescue safely transported her all the way to Corpus Christi, where she arrived at her new family’s home ready for a fresh start. The moment she got there, she wasted no time—she jumped right in and started playing with her new siblings in their big backyard like she’d always belonged there! 🐾🐶🐾

Indy spent the weekend settling in and even got to enjoy her very first beach day, which she absolutely loved. Her new family says she’s doing amazing and adjusting beautifully. ❤️

Indy is right where she’s meant to be!
