Had a great opening for Memory & Landscape last night! I am overwhelmed and appreciative of all the friends, family, neighbors, colleagues, former colleagues, and students who were able to come out in the sludge yesterday (quite possibly the nastiest day of the summer) and show support. It meant so much to see all your lovely faces and catch up! A special thanks to @mastead67 for helping me build frames and install. You’re always willing to help make my vision a reality. I even got some 🔴s which of course is a major bonus! Show will be up until the 27th so stop in and check it out if you find yourself in the neighborhood. Love you all😊

I’m obsessed with my niece’s feet and I’m not ashamed to admit it. AND I discovered a new sketching technique I like: bic pen + oil paint pen + gel pen. It started when I tried to cover a mistake with the paint pen, which of course never works. Then I started using it to smudge the pen for shadows.
