Turns out I haven’t taken nearly as many film photos at gigs as I thought I had, and I’d like to rectify this!

I’m offering my film photography services free of charge for the next couple of months while I’m learning, so if you have a cool gig coming up in a cool venue and would like some film photos, get in touch!

Using flash at a gig feels like trespassing upon a sacred ritual of sorts, so I would prefer to shoot on Portra 800. But, I’ve listed what film was used for these photos so you can let me know what works for you.

Photos 1, 4 & 7 - Ilford HP5+ (with flash)

Photos 2, 5, 8 & 9 - taken by @katie_.louisee on
Kodak Portra 800 (no flash)

Photos 3, 6 & 10 - Kodak Gold 200/400 (with flash)

I’m looking to build a portfolio for my website and would love to hear from you! 🫶🏻

Couple snaps from last year recording ‘An Everlasting Longing’ 🌹 I really love this album. It’s honest, it’s whimsical, it’s playful, it’s quite beautiful. I love the harmonies my best friends added. I love the groove & twangy guitar JB played which holds everything together. I love that I’m in a place now where I can look back on it, hold it in my hands and say “hell yer dude, I made this”. And I love that I’m keen to do it all again. To all the people out there reading this, thank you for being here, thank you for listening. Dem xx 🤍

Wowsers, eight gigs at @slagheapprojects since December! We’ve been treated to a huge variety of original music, from local stars to artists “from away” who have travelled far off the beaten track to play on Wilyakali Country.

Jess Parker, Alyce Pogson & DJ Mophead, Kankawa Nagarra, Darren Hanlon, Hugh F, JB Paterson, Emmy Ryan, ZEAL.H, Ricky Albeck, Leroy Johnson, El Montez & the Tarantellas, Curtis Nye, and the occasional appearance by The Tip Shop Band.

A community of music-loving locals have volunteered to make these gigs happen and it’s such a gift to us all.

Local artists have created amazing works of art as backdrops and installations including Kirsten Chow , Hester Lyon, Phoebe Veldhuizen, Wattlebird, Greta Hector and Alyce Pogson.

Stay tuned, there’s more coming, the 2026 gig calendar is almost full!

A few snaps from the final show of the ‘Under The Stars’ tour at the beloved @elthamhotelnsw on the most recent full moon.

What a time we have had…

Thank you kindly to all those who travelled from all sorts of places to catch a show along the journey and for all of the love that ‘Under The Stars’ has received. ❤️

Keep your eyes peeled for an official music video landing very soon. ✨

A few bts shots of us at JB’s. This was the last recording session for the album where we laid down Gone With The Wind and Tall Green Grass. Carlie and Chloe came down too and added their beautiful harmonies to a few tunes on the album including ‘Gone With The Wind’ which is out now on all streaming platforms. JB’s playing all the instruments other than the acoustic cause that’s me. It’s the only song on the album with harmonica. I really like this one, it’s a fictional story that I randomly came up with in a writing session one morning. I really enjoy creating stories & charters. There was a big storm that blew through@as you can see in the last slide, quite fitting to the tune really. Swing your hips to this one 🌹

Vinyl pre-orders for my new album ‘An Everlasting Longing’ available now, link in bio ♥️ Thanks everyone for the support xx
