I never, not even in a million years, imagined I would become part of something so much bigger than myself. Something so meaningful, so life changing.

I will forever be grateful to @ashevillecommunitytheatre for giving me a place to call home. The stage, the dressing room, 35 Below, and the studio became more than spaces. They became the places where I learned to look at myself with kindness. Where I could meet my own reflection and love the person looking back at me.

Getting to live out my sueñito alongside a community of people who have loved me so fully is a gift I will carry with me forever.

Finding where you belong can be one of the hardest things you’ll ever do. It can feel lonely until, somehow, you find yourself surrounded by hugs, kisses on your cheeks, hands reaching for yours, tears shared under stage lights, people jumping with you in your happiest moments, and love that asks nothing of you except to be yourself.

This life is sweeter because I know each and every one of you. Thank you for being my glimmer when I couldn’t find the light. Most of all, thank you for bringing my spark back. I will carry a piece of this family with me wherever life takes me. 🧡✨🫶🏼🧚🏽‍♀️

IN THE HEIGHTS!! Wow what an amazing piece of theatre I had the privilege to be a part of. This production meant so much to me in such an exhaustive state our divisive nation is currently in, I found a new found love for my heritage and ethnicity through the beautiful community surrounding me. I have met some of the best people within this cast and crew and I could not have been happier to spend countless hours together 🫂. I was also beyond humbled to have been given the opportunity to swing in for any male lead needed, leading to a Piragüero performance being one of the most exciting learning opportunities I have come across🙂‍↕️. Same with learning more about vocal heath and being more comfortable with my body on stage, wow Lin Manuel’s work is incredible 😭.

that’s a wrap on freshman year tanglewood teens! I don’t even have words, this year has just been amazing and we’ve all grown so much, I love you guys with all my heart, thank for making the year worthwhile!

Holy moly, it’s that time again….last day of school and HS graduation day. I have been lucky enough to teach all of these kiddos since eighth grade. They have been a shining beacon of light in my life and not having them in my orbit every day is going to feel so strange. I couldn’t be more proud of the things that this group of kids have done and I’m so excited to see what amazing things are next for them. To the class of 2026, you are extraordinary. I’m so proud of you and I’m going to miss you so much. I love you all and congratulations! 🎉 🎓🥹
