so long, farewell, Auf Wiedersehen, goodbye!
I can't believe how long I've waited for this farewell and I'm so excited to become a missionary in 2 weeks! I love this Gospel so much and cannot believe how lucky I am to serve the people of Frankfurt, Germany!

One of my favorite things about traveling with Mark is getting a little glimpse into the world of what he does—and this trip to Beaver Creek, Colorado, was pretty special. ❤️

Mark was invited to speak at a conference for Pediatric Surgeons about an endoscopic procedure he performs as a Pediatric Gastroenterologist that can help children avoid surgery. It was SO fun getting to watch him speak and see how excited the surgeons were about the possibility of getting more physicians trained to perform these procedures at hospitals around the country. Definitely a proud wife moment! 🥰

And then there was Beaver Creek…WOW. 😍 It felt like we had stepped into a little alpine village in Switzerland. We stayed in a gorgeous hotel right at the foot of the mountain (which turns into a ski resort in the winter!), and we got to enjoy the most beautiful scenery everywhere we looked.

We were lucky enough to travel with some of our very best friends, which made the trip even more fun. There was plenty of delicious food, shopping, walks, swimming, hot tub time, and even some wildlife sightings. 🦌

But the absolute highlight for Mark and me? **Kayaking the Upper Colorado River with a couple of amazing guides!** 🚣‍♀️🚣‍♂️ We got to tackle Class II and Class III rapids, and it was every bit as exhilarating as it sounds! Definitely not what I expected to be doing on a conference trip, but I’m SO glad we did it.

Beaver Creek, you were beautiful, adventurous, relaxing, and just about perfect. I would absolutely love to come back—maybe someday when those mountains are covered in snow! ❄️🏔️

Watching my son Jack graduate fills my heart in ways I can’t fully put into words. I adore him, admire the person he’s becoming, and feel so much gratitude for the hard work, kindness, and determination that brought him here. This milestone is such a special one, and I couldn’t be more proud of him and all that’s ahead.

I played my last “official” soccer game yesterday and it’s really hard to accept that its really over, i am so thankful for every person i have met through the sport and for every experience i have been in because of soccer. i cannot put into words how much i love the sport of fútbol, it has helped me through almost every trial i have faced, because its always been a place where i can retreat from the rest of the world. i know that the end of this facet of my life will just lead to many other great things, but nothing will ever be able to fill the hole that this leaves in my life. I am so unbelievably grateful for every team and teamate i have ever played with, every coach that helped me grow as a player and a person, and for every rondo and flying changes. But most importantly i am so so so grateful for my family and specifically my parents who always believed in and supported me through every practice, game, and injury. thanks.
