A more subtle Disney tattoo here. I was lucky enough to work for Disney in Shanghai and wanted a tattoo to reflect on that time.

I'll give the history after I've shouted out the tattooist, @foxx.teeth_

She's Essex based and honestly one of the nicest people I've ever met! A truly good egg and a wonderful tattooist! She's got pokemon flash this weekend so book in! Or just book in any other time and get your new favourite tattoo!

Here we have a Chinese dragon (he looks so badass) and then we've a peony and shooting stars behind him to subtly reflect the Shanghai Disney castle.

Atop the central and tallest of its eight towers stands a finial in the form of a golden peony — a flower representing China, floating above a cascade of Disney shooting stars. See the second slide.

Well… the extended birthday weekend is finally over. Theatre, pubs, restaurants and clubs galore. I am officially in my 30s. 🥳 Thanks so much to all of the angels who celebrated it with me, whether in-person, through messages or simply in thought. Extra love and thanks to Laura MC Room and @hogwartshanna , who provided me with shelter and a bed to sleep on this weekend and so many other times previously. I love you goddesses. I am definitely ready to begin a new chapter in my life. Hopefully, in around a year’s time, as a primary school teacher. Have a great week guys!

How surreal is it that this year I get to say I illustrated a book cover? 😳 Thank you to @james_carter_author for inviting me into the creation of your work!! His novel “Instinct” will be dropping in 5 days 💖

⭑
Swipe for the full cover and some cool closeups! I’m sorry in advance for ig ruining the quality 😗 I used @liquitexofficial acrylic paint on @strathmoreart Bristol boards.

So yesterday, after nearly 3 years, I finished my time working at Warner Bros and graduated from Hogwarts.

I've met many of you on here and just wanted to say a huge thank you to you for making my time there as enjoyable as it was. Getting to chat Harry Potter all day to fans as a job really was a joy ❤️. I'm now moving to China to work for the mouse for a bit so posts may be fewer as I don't know the regulations on Instagram over there 😅. #wbtourlondon #hogwarts #harrypotter #hogwartsinthesnow

So this is me and @tattoo_tom. I could not recommend this guy enough. He's managed to work a miracle and re work a tattoo of mine from something that looked as though it had been through hell and being it back to something special.

Also, he's a truly inspirational dude, tattoo skills aside, this guy will make you want to be a better person following a session with him.

So this is the finished product. This is my tattoo. The story behind it stems from my time as a character performer at Disney world and these were my 'friends'. So, naturally I had them and their signatures immortalised via ink on my skin.

Great work by the astounding @tattoo_tom

Hey look, it's me 👋 (@jcartery) In celebration of me seeing Toy Story today, thought I'd share my Woody...🤔 So don't zoom in as my Woody tatt is in the process of being lasered off so that @tattoo_tom can rescue it from his deformed state. Learn from me guys, research research and research your tattooist... I mean you could use a certain page to find good artists 🤗. Story is I worked in Orlando as a character performer and I was best buds with Goofy and Woody ♥️. #disney #tattoo #disneytattoo #Disneyland #disneylandparis #rundisney #disneyparishalfmarathon #toystory #toystorytattoo #woody #woodytattoo #colortattoo #potd #armtattoo #disneyink #disneysleeve #castmember #WaltDisneyWorld #orlando #castmembertattoo
