Then she meets Linda, a psychic who can talk to the dead. As their friendship deepens, Linda reveals some uncomfortable truths.

Featuring Eos Co-Artistic Directors, Ashway Lawver and Rachel Sledd, and Co-Founder Morgan Burkey operating as Assistant Director.

Chicago, it was so good to see you!✨

The Chicago casting community came together recently for a relaxed happy hour hosted by JC Clementz, Lauren Port, and Becca McCracken — and the conversations, the laughs, and the good company reminded us exactly why these moments matter.

Thank you to everyone who joined us and to our wonderful hosts for bringing the community together outside of the audition room. 🩵

When the resident company model was more prevalent in U.S. theatres, actors had the chance to put down roots in a community. Is that dream over? For the Spring 2026 print issue, Billy McEntee investigates the ensemble ideal that once defined regional theatre and how it lives today. For more, visit link in story or AmericanTheatre.org .

What a triumph! This past Sunday Eos Theatre Company hosted our first annual Angel donor dinner. We wanted to thank our donors for supporting the arts and a new theater company founded by women. We met new friends, reminisced with old ones, and shared new perspectives and stories. We can't wait for Trojan Women to kick off with our first rehearsal starting this week. Thank you @rachelsledd and @johnnyidpt for opening your beautiful home to us and for an incredible meal!

𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐯𝐞𝐥𝐨𝐮𝐬 • Natural, taut, connective, modern, moving, intimate, risible, engrossing, enraging, elegiac. @littlebearridgeroad is a beautiful piece of theatre, a post-COVID American play, an esoteric, cathartic, dirty mirror reflecting those of us who lived alone through the pandemic, each of us changed with newer selves, we and those around us are still getting used to, still intertwined with our lifelong histories good or bad. Playwright Samuel D. Hunter ('The Whale,' 'A Case For the Existence of God'), director Joe Mantello, dramaturg John Baker and a stellar trio of actors: Laurie Metcalf, Micah Stock and John Drea with support from Meighan Gerachis, with Producers Scott Rudin and Barry Diller as well as Chicago's Steppenwolf Theatre, where the play was developed and premiered have come together to make something very special for these confusing, divisive, disconnected times. Post-covid, democracy falling, facism rising and America forever changed for generations. #LittleBearRidgeRoad
