Join us in Kells Courthouse Tourism and Cultural Hub for a panel discussion on a holistic, integrative approach to preventative healthcare, from the food we eat to the importance of supporting local farmers for health and wellbeing, as well as exploring the connection between the land, our environment and health.

The panelists will explore the connection between what we eat, health and wellbeing and the future of Irish farming.

The panel will be led by Jacinta Dalton — 𝗛𝗲𝗮𝗱 𝗼𝗳 𝗗𝗲𝗽𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗼𝗳 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱, 𝗛𝗲𝗿𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗴𝗲 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝗽𝗶𝘁𝗮𝗹𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗠𝗮𝗻𝗮𝗴𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁 𝗮𝘁 𝗔𝘁𝗹𝗮𝗻𝘁𝗶𝗰 𝗧𝗲𝗰𝗵𝗻𝗼𝗹𝗼𝗴𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆, 𝗚𝗮𝗹𝘄𝗮𝘆

Jacinta is a staunch supporter of regenerative and organic food produce and as a cancer patient is an advocate for positive integrative healthcare and the power of good food for preventative health and healing.

Joining Jacinta on the panel are:

𝗖𝗮𝘀𝘀 𝗠𝗰𝗖𝗮𝗿𝘁𝗵𝘆 from Lúnasa Farm in Quinn, Co Clare, a small, certified organic family farm. Cass is passionate about regenerative agriculture, ethically raised livestock, and honest, nutrient-dense food. Cass is passionate about food education and creating food that nourishes both people and the planet.

𝗠𝗶𝗰𝗵𝗮𝗲𝗹 𝗢’𝗗𝗼𝗵𝗲𝗿𝘁𝘆 a Bio Energy Specialist from Integrated Health Systems. In his clinic, Michael experiences how poor diet, lack of exercise and environmental toxins affect the energy system of the body which in turn causes the digestive system to breakdown resulting in many symptoms developing in the body.

𝗖𝗮𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗮 𝗥𝗼𝘀𝗲𝗶𝗻𝗴𝗿𝗮𝘃𝗲 from Burren View Farm in Co. Clare, a dairy farm with a flock of free range chickens. Carina is Ireland's ambassador for International Year of the Woman Farmer 2026. Carina and Michael O’Doherty are hosting a series of events around the country focusing on farmer health issues and understanding how stress, sleep and food impacts health.

Terre Madre

Some experiences don’t just change the way you see food. They change the way you see the world.
One of the most special parts of the whole experience wasn’t just the amazing food, the ideas or the conversations. It was meeting fellow fermenters from around the world.
Sharing techniques, stories, experiments, failures and the little moments of fermentation magic reminds me just how generous and connected this community is. Different places, different traditions, but so much in common.
Grateful for the people I met, the knowledge shared and the inspiration I’m bringing home to my students and the wider community. Here’s to keeping the cultures alive, in every sense.

20 years of Green Earth Organics - we called, you came and what a fabulous day we had!

A huge thank you to everyone who made their way to Corrandulla, what an amazing turnout.

Our farm shop was hopping, our supplier showcase was an absolute hit and then of course there's our stunning lineup of speakers and panelists.

Chinese garlic is the root of it all for @mickkellygrows and as @darina_allen rightly noted: "you can't eat a math's book!".

Spirited discussions, informative talks, and lots of food for thought but above all, renewed hope and we're just so grateful to meet so many like-minded people. Our hearts are full. From all of us here at GEO - thank you.
