Happy anniversary! Thank you all for an amazing 14 years! To all the wonderful guests, purveyors, employees, managers, chefs, lovers of sushi, anime lovers, SoCo travelers, it if because of you. Thank you for the support, love, and conversation.

I was only able to share a few of my favorite moments but there are many more I cherish and will continue to share. Please send and share any moments you have had at Lucky over the years.

As a thank you for all these years of support, I would also love to share with you any recipes. Any thing you want, from past to present. If I can find the recipe I will share it with you!

This week I’m welcoming my friend and chef of Lucky Robot: Julio Florez to our kitchen. He is an expert in Peruvian cuisine and is brining a fun twist to a tamal to Nomade.

This dish features Mayan octopus marinated in anticucho salsa, chalaca de maiz bebe, and ponzu verde tatemada. The perfect blend of spicy, sour, and smoky.

So happy to have Chef @jcflorezz join us bringing Nikkei (Japanese and Peruvian) cuisine and flavors to our Texas Oyster celebration.

Chef will be serving up a dressed Texas oyster with kombu cucumbers, pickled lotus root, Nikkei leche de tigre.
